Something about this headline just irks me. But I am having trouble pinning down exactly why...

I think its because it starts off with "As a self-righteous douche" and combines that with the self-righteousness of religion with that of the self-righteousness of pushing out a kid.

I think I have issue with self-righteousness (or..."Self-righteousness (also called sententiousness) is a feeling of smug moral superiority derived from a sense that one's beliefs, actions, or affiliations are of greater virtue than those of the average person."). I just can't stand that attitude. Maybe because I see it in myself so often...? I don't know.

It's a shame that that's how some christians portray themselves these days.
The nicest people I know are religious. I get no sense of superiority from them, nor do they have an attitude.
Whelp, it feels like the anesthetic has finally completely worn off.
Wisdom teeth? DOn't worry. I had mine taken out years ago, no ill effects...except for urges to stick forks in wall sockets.
some of us have excellent wisdom teeth that require no removal

(or some of our countries don't require them to be removed)
