Something about this headline just irks me. But I am having trouble pinning down exactly why...
The Liberated Mommy: Confessions of a Feminist Mother
As a feminist, a new mother comes to terms with a surprise pregnancy, reconciling motherhood with her ambitious, liberated ideals. This article provides Biblical basis for feministic beliefs as well as an affirmation of motherhood.
I think its because it starts off with "As a self-righteous douche" and combines that with the self-righteousness of religion with that of the self-righteousness of pushing out a kid.
I think I have issue with self-righteousness (or..."Self-righteousness (also called sententiousness) is a feeling of smug moral superiority derived from a sense that one's beliefs, actions, or affiliations are of greater virtue than those of the average person."). I just can't stand that attitude. Maybe because I see it in myself so often...? I don't know.

The nicest people I know are religious. I get no sense of superiority from them, nor do they have an attitude.
Wisdom teeth? DOn't worry. I had mine taken out years ago, no ill effects...except for urges to stick forks in wall sockets.
