- Play with RPGmaker
I've never actually found a way for getting rid of my stress, I only temporarily distract myself. Usually listening to music or hard liquor can temporarily alleviate any problems (I'm not an alcoholic). Often I'd also sleep when I feel completely overwhelmed, but I've been trying to avoid that because it's not really healthy.
Playing shootan games also can help.
Well honestly, I just decided to try yoga, and it is amazing for stress relief and it's amazing for you. Not only does it increase flexibility of joints and muscles, but it also builds balance and helps to tone your body. I have a dvd on my computer that is about an hour long, called Basic Yoga for dummies, and it is wonderful. I have decided I will try to compress that hour long film into a ten minute yoga session every day. Also, you hardly realize it has been an hour, it is a very refreshing and relaxing activity. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED, especially to people like me who go to school, hunch over a desk there, go home, sit on the computer hunched, or play games all day. It really loostens the body. Anyways, ranted long enough. GET THIS DVD.
Slowing down a little and doing a bit of controlled breathing goes a long way.

Sleep. For days, sometimes. I sleep a lot as it is, so you can imagine how little I actually get out of bed when I am feeling stressed out, which isn't very often.
There's tons of ways for me to relieve stress. I'll either listen to music or watch some stand up comedy. That, or I'll play some games or sleep. Exercising can also really help out. Usually taking things slow does the job for me, though.

I tried doing yoga, but it didn't really help me much mainly because I was too impatient.
yeah, my friend dragged me out to a meditation session once. In one of the activities we had to lie down on our backs, close our eyes and let your mind drift. Meanwhile, the person who was teaching this kept on talking. How on earth are you supposed to relax when the person keeps talking. Of course i never went back.
Drugs.

How about a nap?
Man I've only taken two naps in my life and one of them was because I had influenza and the other was because I had alcohol poisoning (from a long night spent drying to cope with stress via usual means <3). Do most people take naps or is it just like some people? Sleeping in the middle of day just seems like such a waste of time to me.
It is a waste of time, but naps are so awesome.
A little siesta in the afternoon should be legislated into our constitution.

I am one of those people who is so set to CALCULATE that I can never sleep unless I am completely exhausted. Luckily I chose the right degree to facilitate sleeping although I think it's the most stressful thing I could have chosen without doing medicine or dentistry or some 10000-lecture a week subject.

Yes, i am one of those people that can't get to sleep till after 12:00 am every night. On the rare occasion that i do fall asleep before then is usually when i'm drunk. I agree with Brandon, big waste of time.
