MULTIPLE GAMES?
Posts
Are you allowed to be the developer of multiple games on RMN? By that I mean can you work on multiple games at the same time without breaking any rules.
Yes you can. I mean we all get bored of our projects from time to time and then we start another one.

Cool and us there a limit on the number?
I don't think there's anything stopping you, but I don't know if it's recommended to upload every single project(no matter how small) you've ever worked on.
Just making sure cause I am currently working on two and I don't want to get in trouble after I post my second project.
The more projects you have, the more makerscore you get. The more makerscore you have, the better person you are. This is a fact.
Since the question is answered, let's change this into a discussion about your thoughts on working on multiple games.
Do you sometimes work on more than one game at the same time? Or do you like to focus on one game and only start a new one once it's done?
If you do sometimes work on more than one game, what generally happens when you decide to do this?

To answer the first part of your question I normally just work on one game at a time. If I have a new idea for a second game I make notes on it to see if I like it and how far I could take it but I never really work on it. But recently I have though of a second idea for another game I would like to work on so that is why I asked the question.
I personally have ADD when it comes to writing my stories or making games. At first, I have a solid idea of what I want, but it usually sprouts new ideas which makes me "OOH, SHINY!" and make something else until I come back to it.

I work on like 15 at a time back then. And most of them aren't my own. I spend more time working for other people only for my work to get ditched 'w');
In the end it makes you wonder if it's better that you just work on your own, but eh, the experience and levelling up makes it worth it.

The more projects you have, the less likely you are to finish any of them.
Right Nessiah?
...or...
If you only ever complete 5% of your projects, if you have 1 project, 5% of that rounds down to an incomplete, but if you have 100 projects, that's 5 completed projects under your belt!
But in all seriousness, finishing a project is a skill, and not just something that happens automatically. And once you finish one project, your skill in finishing increases, which increases the likelyhood that you can finish other projects!
I always have at least two in the works at the same time. My inspiration is random and fleeting for either, so having two starkly contrasted games helps keep me productive 70% of the time.
The other 30% is spent watching animeeee
