Act 1 (Inferno) completed.
I nearly succeeded on my first attempt, then I died like a bunch, and finally killed the Butcher. I was literally one hit from victory when he tagged me with his multi-hook:

Many mice have more than three buttons. In fact it's a good thing the gui actually shows any keybinds you've made. I'm looking at you console ports.

It's my fourth mouse button, which is where my thumb rests on my mouse. It is binded to an ability called Overpower, which is an instant attack to anything within 9 yards of my barbarian for 165% of my weapon damage which is pretty nasty with my two-handed axe. The cooldown is 15 seconds but critical strikes have a chance to reduce the cooldown by one second and I have a 41.5% critical rate. I have attached the Revel rune, which heals me for 8% of my maximum health for every enemy it hits.
A lot of barbarians prefer Revenge (Provocation) to Overpower (Revel) for health sustain, but I like Overpower more since it has a defined cooldown rather than an activation rate. I can leap attack in and follow it up with Overpower as soon as I land, which hurts things pretty bad and kills many things if both attacks critically hit since I have a 239% damage modifier to critical hits.
The healing is nice, though. Against single targets, such as a boss, Revenge (Provocation) has a 30% chance to activate when you get hit and most bosses have slow but heavy attacks, and only heals for 5% of maximum HP. With my critical rate, I can reliably use Overpower (Revel) with decent frequency and don't have to rely on being hit to do so.
Another benefit of using Overpower over Revenge is Dexterity's bonus to dodge becomes useful. With Revenge, you'll get fewer activations if you're dodging.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Around the end of Nightmare difficulty, I'm starting to see the single player latency issues. I'm never entirely sure if I just teleported 15 yards due to lag, or due to good old-fashioned movement glitches, or because some vortex/knockback enemy is screwing with me. But the animation for rapid fire taking half a second to start firing, that's definitely my 300 ping. (Though it's still dealing damage during that time; the skill animation and enemy movement just aren't visible)
The lack of storage space in my locker is disheartening! I am a packrat and want to be able to store enough gear to carry all five classes from 1 to 60! Ten character accounts is not enough mules! If I auction stuff for a million gold and then don't reclaim it after it doesn't sell, I can store an extra 50 items in the auction house's "finished" tab... hmm...

man, so much hate for diablo III. I was seriously considering buying it but seeing ridiculous reviews where people give an average of a 4/10 rating, I might end up passing it! (although, I might come out ahead since most of the negativity stems from comparing it to the second, which I have never played)

Yeah... I just got to Act 3. I can't make it through the dungeon before the acid cloud boss. This place is ridiculous.

I was worried about it working on my PC as well, but it runs like a dream! As long as you HAVE a graphics card and a decent bit of RAM, it should rune without a hitch.

It runs perfectly on the highest settings on my laptop.
Intel i5 (2.5GHz), GeForce GT 540M w/ 1g VRAM, 4g RAM.
(It's an acer Aspire, and I highly recommend it. It's like $650, plays modern games really well (ME3 on full settings? no prob) and has an absurdly long battery life thanks to the nVidia Optimus technology. And, y'know, isn't $1.3k.)

It's a build that's available all over the place. Just look for Aspire w/ nVidia 540M. I found it on at least ten different sites when looking for the best shipping rates, haha. (Amazon. Amazon has them.)

I finally beat the fart boss. How? By pretending I'm a demon hunter.
Throw spec - load up on crit, focus on weapon throw and fury-building other skills. Leap to jump over fart clouds. 15 minute fight, kiting and throwing the whole time. Try it as melee would be literally impossible without incredible gear + lifesteal.
Yep, enjoy your badass melee warrior.
