Hello all. I have been a big RPG fan all my life. My favorite style is traditional FF turn based RPG. I have been playing the laxius power games for a while and I want something similar to LPIII in that it is turn based and has a HUGE main map to explore. I prefer a game to be as non-linear as possible. I love roaming around and exploring. Any recommendations?
Hiya, Rexington! Welcome to RMN.
Paradise Blue is a good fairly nonlinear game.

Making a game recommendation requires that I actually play games from RMN. That doesn't happen very oft. Unless you also want non-RMN recommendations?
Hi Rexington! I heard that Hero's Realm was somewhat popular with people who've enjoyed Laxius games.
UPRC have just finish his game, try it, maybe you will enjoy it ;) http://rpgmaker.net/games/427/
By the way, welcome ;) hope you are confortable in the community.
Thank you all. I am not interested in just RMN games. I just want to play a huge non-linear game that is not an online game.
Skyrim does look entertaining, but it isn't turn based like the LP/LF and FF franchises

Shameless self promotion. This I can see.

Did he make that game? If he did I actually don't mind shameless self promotion. I know it is considered bad form, but I don't mind. As long as a person doesn't mind if I don't like their game.

I was simply stating a point of interest relevant to the request that is not very well known. I can show you the emails I got if you like.
I was joking. I don't mind self promotion especially of the shameless kind.
