With a well-placed Palm of Swan Lake, you thrust energy into the confused and blinded Ugly Goblin's chest. He is tossed like a rag doll into the furthest wall and explodes along with everything he stole.

After the battle, Xavion shows the group the magical pool of Revivification water he found. The lot of you bathe in the cool bliss, recovering any wounds (except permanent disfigurements) and your Skills are all cooled. You can use all skills now. MrChearlie is sober now too.
That awkward bath scene over with, the group of dimension travelling men head into the next chamber which is blocked by a door. Gourd_Clae halts just beyond the portal and stares in awe---this is a temple! The floor is a large round pillar. Before you, an altar... and on the altar rests a giant, radiant Crystal. The Crystal spins softly giving off an air of presence.
As the rest of the Party gather around Gourd, it becomes readily obvious that there is something far more important here. A giant turtle is attacking a monk!
The monk has blond hair, light skin and appears to be in his 20's. With a great effort, his fists fly into the turtle's face.
You all know what to do! This is a true test of your strength as a group! Help the Monk, Khos, fight this bastard Land Turtle.

Land Turtle (HP: 11) (Will attack everyone at the same time every turn. Roll for each hit.)


Khos Level 5 Monk (Skills: Spin Fist: Backhand everyone around you, Secret Fist: Causes "Doom" status effect)

@Xavion, I should note. Land Turtle is huge. He completely blocks the stairs leading to the Crystal. Also, the Crystal is 3x bigger than you.
Also, I can add that you get Goblin Meat, if it meets your fancy.

I've decided to rather simply treat this much the same as an RPG, that is do everything that can possibly be good and take any skill I can no matter how useless just because it could be once. The size problem with the Crystal is irrelevant as this is an RPG as proven by the fact I've been carrying a ten foot pole with me the whole time, with ease, while fighting, in a cave. Actually that cave part is the only reason I haven't used Missile yet as I'm a bit scared about the potential consequences.

True, however, Crystals in Final Fantasy are like the size of buses or something, and basically gods. I'm not letting you steal things like that! Next thing you'll try and pocket a Chocobo or Airship.

Khos
With a practiced aim of your Chi, you send your skill forward. However, the status Doom bounces off Land Turtle's shell and narrowly misses Gourd_Clae.

Adon
The wind around you swirls as your memory lapses to Recall the spell Tornado. It brings the wind around you to a torrent of energy. Swirling faster and faster until it knocks Zeuzio and MrChearlie aside. Almost to the edge of the platform you're fighting on! The winds of Tornado flash forward, knocking over Khos as they blast the Land Turtle with wind energy! However, the Land Turtle has no elemental weakness.
-4 HP Land Turtle.

Xavion
Staying out of the battle again, you chomp down on some mysterious green flesh from the last battle. Your skin curls and bubbles, while your muscles and bones warp and shift. Before you know it, you're 4 feet tall and wearing a tunic with a cap! You are now a Goblin!
You no longer have access to Job Class changes, nor equipment, nor ability growth. However, you will gain Goblin abilities faster, and can still learn Blue Magic.
Skills:
Tackle: Attack with a rushing body blow.
Eye Gouge: Attack the eyes, robbing target of sight. (Roll for "Blind")

Land Turtle
With an unbelieveable spin of its giant shelled form, the Land Turtle manages to swipe you all with his massive fin! Khos, Zeuzio, MrChearlie, and Xavion are all safely out of the way.
Adon is hit square in the ribs. He is now bleeding, and will have trouble breathing! Gourd_Clae is hit so hard he goes flying out the door whence he came, he's bleeding as well! RabitZ manages to duck behind a pillar which the Land Turtle unfortunately strikes, much to his own pain... This ends his attack, saving Allen Hunter from the hurt.
-1 HP on Land Turtle.

From the ground you have a great vantage point to Land Turtle's fleshy bits. Your bolt cuts straight through his flipper, however the bolt carries on and bounces off the Turtle's shell, landing straight in your foot. You are now stuck in place unless waste a turn dislodging the arrow.

Blowing into your hands as you shake the magical dice within, you feel Lady Luck on your side blowing in with you. Letting loose the dice, it does it's magical crackle through the air and twangs against Land Turtle's head.

With a tongue between your teeth, you aim square at the eyes. However you are so startled by the last attack you are unable to hold your aim. The bolt misses and hits MrChearlie in his other foot.

Your dog, unaware it was an attack dog anymore, wanders confused over to the Land Turtle. It instinctively begins to lick the would of Land Turtle, but the taste of blood reminds it of the meaning of life. With one chomp on the Land Turtle's fin, the mammoth creature's heart gives out, and it dies in a flash of red...
