Post-Pause Button!
It appears the pause button did not freeze the game. Instead, events played out while you all were away... (read: while I was being a lazy dork)
During the Seymour Battle, Cagnazzo was defeated. The summon beast swiftly returned to the heavens, and Seymour cowing before your might, opened a strange portal made of dark energy. He quickly jumped inside, followed swiftly by Elements and EvilEagles. However, Zeuzio and MrChearlie were too late to jump in also, as the portal closed.
In the Don's office, the group found nothing, as someone had already stolen everything of value. There was no visible sign of Locke either! Where could he be?
Where indeed? Locke in this dark cavern has found no way out yet. While he has escaped three large cavernous chambers by now, he is evidently no closer to finding an escape route.
It is now so dark, that he can see nothing, and only feel his way.
The lamp has gone out, and has no use here anymore. It was discarded long ago.
Back in the Prison house, the small party selectively presses their hands on four sides of the Crystal left by Allen Hunter's Sacrefice.
The Party gains the Black Mage job class!
Archeia gains - 1 Silk Robe, 1 Hi-Potion, 1 Ether, 232 gil! Also, Ability: Fire!
Storm gains - 1 Green Beret, 3 Tents, 1 Ether, 232 gil! Also, Ability: Ice!
RabitZ gains - 1 Rubber Boots, 1 Rope, 1 Ether, 232 gil! Also, Ability: Thunder!
Xavion gains - 1 Scorpion Tail, 1 Remedy, 1 Ether, 232 gil! Also, Ability: Bare Hand!
Khos and Arthur trade blows for a while, but ultimately, Arthur slumps over and says, "Y'know? You... You're alright. -hick!-"
The two share drinks and war stories. Apparently, Arthur is from the future, and has very little holding him to this prison, except the knowledge that he failed to save his world, when the timelines all got mixed up.
According to Arthur, the space/time continuum is not so straight-forward than one would imagine. There is a singularity point in the 1st Dimension that defines the universe. Everything else is just a catastrophic outcome of various circumstances. That every world roots from the same point, and turned out differently through a variety of evolution or ideas that changed the face of the planet.
In his future, people can eat monster parts to change into creatures.
Khos, at this note, deduces that Arthur should meet Xavion someday.
And so, Arthur Joins the Party! (NPC)

Locke - in a dark dungeon. You may request additional information or attempt anything. Currently, you are resting against a rocky wall.
Ceal, Ques, Selphie, Indrah - You are in the Don's room, but there is nothing here for you to do. You cannot find the button for the trap door, as no one in the party is perceptive enough. All you can do is return to the Prison.
Archeia, Storm, RabitZ, Xavion - You are in the centre of the Prison town. You may wait here and twiddle your thumbs or have Xavion teleport you all into a Desert Survivor mini-game.
Zeuzio, MrChearlie - You are in the Sandworm birthing pit, alone. There is nothing for you here, unless you want to waste time killing Sandworm larvae.
Elements, EvilEagles - You are no longer in the game, but may return at a later point (you will be notified.)
Khos, Arthur - You are in the junkyard outside the Prison town.
The Four-Person Party rule is still in effect, however, it is unlikely you will be entering combat anytime soon.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Does there appear to be light coming from any direction in the underground dungeon? Can I hear anything, smell anything? Am I still knee-deep in water, or did I make it onto dry land? If I'm on dry land, is the water still right next to me or did I leave it behind? If the water is still there, is it flowing or still? (If it's flowing I should be able to hear it, and figure out which direction it is from me, even if I'm not close to it any more.)
I go meet back up with K-hos. MrChearlie can follow me if he wants.

Questions: Do all parties have the Black Mage class? And, have you already returned us to the prison town?
Gourd: The four who defeated Sacrefice currently have the class to claim, though once someone claims it, it is taken. Same as always. Once the party reunites, all will have it at their disposal (though if taken, it will of course be off limit.)
Also, no, the party is still in the same pockets.

What happens to our skill slots if we change class? for example if I choose 2 Black Mage skills than later drop the Black Mage class do I get the skill slots back?

Xavion, I think you have Class Breaker. You can split Black Mage and Blue Mage (reducing learned skills by half to be replaced with BM skills) or swap Blue for Black magic, which would mean, no more transformations.
So my current 7 skill slots would be split 4/3 for each class? but what I meant was that if I say later changed Black Mage for Knight would all my Black Mage skills be swapped for Knight skills?

I specifically gave Bare Hand to you for that reason.
As for how skills work... I know this is an ever-changing system. Bare with me. I'm trying to balance everything as new things are added.
So far we haven't had to deal with Job Classes changes, but yes. The idea would be... You change jobs, you lose previous job-class specific skills and replace the same number of skills from the new job class pool.

I'll take it but I'll probably change as soon as I get the chance. I just thought of something else, will my FF3 spell orbs take up skill slots? I don't really remember how the spells worked in it but I think they didn't have a limit on quantity.
