CloseCurrently, RMN doesn't have an engine for making tactics games: Games like Fire Emblem. Can anyone get one on the site? Or even find a good one?

Besides Sim RPG Maker, I don't think such a maker exists.
There are scripts for XP and VX though.

That is probably the best Tactical RPG Engine you will find. The problem is, it is in Japanese with no English localization.
Most likely you only have a choice between this, Sim RPG Maker, or an engine not made for Tactical RPGs.

I remember seeing that one before. I still can't believe that there has never been an English version of any kind.

Actually, I think an attempt to localize it was made by the people at RPGCrisis under the alias "Tactics Rpg Editor 2".
Unfortunately, in order to run it, you have to set your computer to Japanese , and so will the players if they want to play it. That was a deal breaker for me.
