The engine is not an excuse (it never was in previous BQs either). The 30 day trial of VX Ace is longer than the event duration.

VX and ACE suck. If I can't use that as an excuse then it still needs to be said.
At first I was like, "I'm a big babby and I don't how to puzzle waaaahh" But then I was like "Nah I can do it, I can make a puzzle. I have one in mind!" But I lack the integrity to follow through on my promises.
Last week was crunch week for a Geologist's conference mixed with a fairly hefty refactoring that broke a lot of stuff. I'm definitely going to get something done now that it's all over, even if it is that shitty puzzle I already made!
Everyone has a life Kentona. Most of your poll answers seemed pretty rude, and unrealistic. The nicest and most realistic one here was "Remarkably, I didn't know there was an event!", which was at first my case.
Really though, with this poll here, it seems like you are trying to force the users. They know the time they had, if they were going to do it, they probably would of done it by now.
For me, I didn't sign up because VX Ace costs money, and everyone knows how I feel about that.
The Trial version for me is expring soon anyway, I just wanted it for the character creator. I'll make more characters later.
Plus, this is a school year now. Technically it's no longer Summer, so some peoplee here have school as well. You gotta remember that. :3

Well, this is true, but what if I was planning on only using that trial when I have more free time?

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.
