LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

If the last card isn't a king of diamonds, I definitely lose.
1/52 chance to win 50 gold and 51/52 chance to lose 10. I don't like those odds.
...
Wait a damn minute.
He had a jack of spades in his hand, and now another is on the table? That ghoul-kissing rat-toothed son of an inbred wastewanderer is cheating!
I whip out my sledgehammer, knock the table over, and grab the guy's sleeve to expose his fraud! He must have extra cards he's hiding in that QUESTIONABLE red dress!

Hmmm... another hundred years of darkness or go to a cave to take out some ghost. I really don't have much of a choice. Though, I admit, I do want to do it. I say yes, but I also ask him where I could get some sort of weapon. Preferably something effective towards the undead. I don't think a hammer can hurt ghost.... but who knows. If we can't touch them then I'll also look for a bow and some arrows.
Game Post 6
Inside the bathroom, AVERAGE Wes smiles amiably to the weird man in suspenders, only to flip his lid at such a disgusting request. Pulling out his sledgehammer from the pocket of infinite space in his pants, Wes spins the weapon handle-first like a baseball bat and cracks the man across the face (rolled 5). The man spins around on one foot and smashes his face against the mirror, creating a web of splinters. The man slumps to the floor, hitting his chin on the brass sink, which incidentally causes him to bite off most of his tongue.
Taking off the man's suspenders and tucking his unconscious body into his own stinky bathroom stall, Wes gains...
GRAND Suspenders (+1 Style)
Meanwhile, by the fireplace, Rhys and Alex nod their heads in agreement and take on this mystical quest! Alex questions about items and the like, and the old man simply shakes his head.
"The best I can offer is the toolshed outside the mine," he says, and hands Alex a keyring.
Alex gains Keyring of the Rails (Skeleton keys for all mine and railyard locks)
Both Alex and Rhys are a little underwhelmed, and are aware the town shops are all closed, because it is after business hours. There is a weapon shop and item shop in town, but they are closed for the night and no one is there. Everyone is here, in the tavern.
The two heroes look up when a loud crash comes from the poker table...
Locked in grappling combat with the dress wearing man, Neele Diamond finally manages to grab the other player's hand. He looks at and triumphantly reveals the Jack of Spades.
The other players have a mixture of reactions. Most are annoyed, angry, and livid. While the stranger from Frankfoil seems to be unmoved by your attempt to unearth this cheat. Instead, he begins to pick up the table.
"Such horseplay. Iz zis zee way of Hubland City?" The stranger asks.
The man in the QUESTIONABLE red dress however, is furious. As he struggles to get free, a wad of cards fall from his dress to the floor. In unison the other players jump in and beat the dressed man to a pulp. The elf even pulls off the red dress, to see if there are more hidden surprises. The QUESTIONABLE dress flies into the air, dancing above the excitement, when a hand darts out and grabs it.
Wes gains the STUPENDOUS Dress (+1 Style, -1 Wind Resistance)!
After all the excitement, Neele Diamond and the poker players return to find the game has been set again, exactly as it was. The strange Frankfoil man is staring at the players with his intent red eyes.
"Now zat ziss display haz ended, shall we finish zee game, gentlemen?"

Yay! I'm going to become STUPENDOUSLY FABULOUS!! by changing into my new STUPENDOUS Dress. I'll store those suspenders in the infinite space I have in my pockets. And... hey, what are Alex and Rhys doing with that old man? I'll go see what they're doing and see if I can join in on the conversation (after I've changed into my new dress of course).
Edit: Also, if Alex and Rhys just so happen to be going on an undead slaying adventure or whatever, I'll go with them.

"The hell, man? You just gonna keep playin' like nothin' happened?
...
Fine. All in."
...
Fine. All in."
I explain the situation to the cross-dressing Wes. If Rhys will allow, I let him/her/it come along (assuming that him/her/it wants to). My first instinct was to say no, but you need all the help you can get with a mission like this.
I stay out of the fight, as it isn't any of my business.
I suggest to Rhys that we leave for the shed in the morning ( after checking out ALL the shops)
(Edit: I was typing this for a while so I didn't read the message above this one when I was typing)

Game Post 7
The old man appears quite uncomfortable about the discussion about leaving in the morning rather than post-haste, but says nothing. Instead, he takes his leave and goes to cry into a tankard of mead.
With Rhys, Alex and the STUPENDOUS Wes informed and ready for the quest at hand, all that awaits is a majority vote on what to do.
Meanwhile, at the poker table, the Frankfoil man flashes his red eyes up at the table. All the players are in a huff over the cheat, and not as comfortable with continuing now that this strange pale-face has reset their toppled table. Yet, when Neele tosses in his coins, the way is set.
A sly grin appears on the man's face. "Let uz reveal cardz after zee final card has been turned over. Objektions? No? Alright zen."
The final card is turned over.
King of Diamonds.
The red eyes of the Frankfoil man dashes triumphantly across the table at everyone. Carefully, he places down his two cards. Two of Spades, and Two of Hearts.
"Three of une Kind," the pale man says with a smile twinkling to the extent his thin mouth could stretch. "It'z been a pleazure."
At once the Frankfoil man began to gather in the coins, as each of the players tossed their useless hands on the table. Everyone had a pair of something. Useless.
Then, as the Frankfoil was reaching as far as he could to get the far off coins, Neele tossed his cards on the table. "Royal Flush."
A stillness crackled in the air as each player stared in disbelief.
After a pause, the Frankfoil's nose coiled. "Cheated. That'z imposs-ible!"

Gentlemen, I'd love to stay and have a friendly chat about statistical theory, as you all seem so eager to do, but unfortunately tonight I'll be taking my money, and joining my friends on their mission, which is clearly quite urgent, and requires us to leave immediately, like right this second. No time to waste, boys! Let's get out of here!
Off topic, sorta: I finally got around to doing a proper inventory. It's on the front page. The "EXTRA" slot is for accessory things. Like, say, green suspenders.
Game Post 8
Pocketting the loot, Neele Diamond rejoins the crew, only to find them on a mission of some sort. After the situation is duly explained the Neele and Wes, all decide to head out post-haste! Triumphantly, you all head out the door, only to find that four people don't fit in a doorway. So, taking turns, you all wander into the moonlit streets. You are on the edge of town, with the road leading to the mine site to your left. The town is to the right. Everywhere outside the roads is filled with thick pine wood. You're able to squeeze between buildings, but the easiest travel is by road. Do as you please!
As you decide where to go next, you notice a surly man in a trenchcoat. He is not wearing pants, and holding the trenchcoat close to his body. Shift eyes look left and right, as he stands at the corner of the Loose Noose looking for customers.
At once the stranger notices you, and whispers "Pssst! Psst! Want a map?"
Without asking, he opens his trenchcoat wide, revealing that he's wearing a TERRIFYING Speedo. He pulls out a scroll and tosses it to Rhys.

Handy! The mines are to our left, and we have the keys to the toolshed outside the mine, so we could probably go there. However, we might need some protection against those ghosts....
Wherever you guys want to go, I guess.
(Oh, and I'll give some money to the stranger for the map)

(shouldn't I have a keyring in my extra slot? The elderly man gave me one)
I see the guy's speedo and try to hold in my lunch.
anywho, I peer over Rhys's shoulder and get a good look at the map. I say "I suggest we go left and take the path to the mineshaft. We should also check out the armory, blacksmith, library, and the alchemist hall when we can. Oh and the --... nevermind"

I suppose we should go to the mines but... this STUPENDOUS dress is just a LITTLE too tight...
Could we go see if the Tailor could make this dress a little bit bigger?

A few of the places in town are probably still open, but I really doubt the tailor will be.
The dark ritual shop might be open though. I suspect they're not the kind of place that keeps 9-5 hours. Wanna go there and try to get some sort of ghostbusting supplies?
