DUNGEONS & DRAG-QUEENS: CAPED COSPLAY!

You people and your noble "let's protect the town" plan. Sure, let's protect the town... and get killed by goblins! :<
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I mean, we have no particular reason to believe the town is in the right, I suppose. Would you rather protect the goblins?

Fair warning, they seemed rather xenophobic. Going on about "kill all humans" and such.
Nooo I don't want to protect the goblins, I want to avoid them altogether! I'm a bit of a racist towards goblins. I mean gosh, they're so dirty and insistent on killing humans. Who wouldn't dislike them?

If your main character is to die, and your Underling remains alive, you may opt to play as your Underling, start over, or quit.

There is a crackle of thunder outside, signifying that the rainbow spell did work. The Suicide Pact of the Armlet turns to see the front door of the hall burst open. Standing there, silhouetted by heavy rain, and dripping wet, stood a watchman.
"Goblins! Frankfoil is attacking!"
At once the leather debate between citizens ends, and the King steps forward. "What is this all about?"
Just then, a rudimentary arrow lands in the watchman's back, and he falls down.
"We're under attack!" the king roars. "Shelter your children, and prepare for battle!"
Outside a great marching sound comes thundering in like a terrifying earthquake.
STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP!
WHAT WILL YOU DO?!?
Um, are there any milkable animals nearby? If so, I'd like Olas to milk said animal and give me the milk, in case I need it for healing purposes. And uh, I guess I'll fight some goblins with my rainbow staff. I can't believe I'm having to fight nasty goblins... >:/
I start summoning orange balls of light and throwing them at the goblins. I also make Aridath summon a weapon and give it to me. When I get it I'll use the sword as a bat to hit the balls of light faster and harder at the army.

I will use my stony mass to protect the entrance to the building the king is in. Since they have archers, it would be best to wait inside the door for them to show up, but I'm afraid that once they're inside, I won't be able to stop them all.

I have an idea though. I turn over a pair of the large dinner tables on their sides, and set them on either side of the door into the building, creating a kind of narrow foyer with tables for walls. Now any goblins that come in will have to face me one or two at a time.

The D is me! The short goblins shouldn't be able to climb over the tables. This seems like a defendable position.

Bruce Baker, go get the maids and kitchen staff to board up the windows. Leave a few windows for our archers and mages though - perferably on the second floor, if there's a second floor. Everyone else should see if the building has another entrance besides the main one.

Dudesoft, a layout of the building we're in would be highly appreciated at this point!

Been itching for a good old-fashioned combat sequence since this game started!
I'll have Harry summon his battle owl and get ready to fight.

I'll stand near the entrance to the castle so I can whack goblins that try to get in.

While Diamond stands ready at the entrance, a gaggle of Goblins begin barging in the front entrance. They are either bashed by Diamond, or nailed by Alex Rift's orange light. Each one splashing like water, despite being just light.
Opposite of this, Wes is bashing Goblin after goblin with his Rainbow staff. Each hit sending rainbow sparks into the air.
Then, Bruce and Olas Baker run off to board up windows and gather milk. They pass Aridath who is conjuring the Sword of Illusion into Alex's awaiting hand. Beside him, Harry awaits his owl's arrival.
Rhys then stands closest to the entrance and punches Goblins in the throats. It's such an effective method that victory seems imminent. Goblin after Goblin die at your hands, like plowing through popcorn.
You have all killed 50 Goblins before the attackers halt their progression. That's when the real trouble starts. A werewolf appears to attack, and his strength is incredible.

Standing now in the doorway, the werewolf grabs Rhys' fist as he punches. Then grabs Wes' staff when he swings. The werewolf then whirls both heroes in front of him like a shield to deflect Alex Rift's light spell. After this, he hurls them at Diamond.
His is so strong and terrifying... That Diamond turns into a little girl, and wets her pants. Such a big bad wolf is the thing of nightmares!

Boss: Kristoff the Werewolf!

HP: 150
MP: 20
ATK: 1d6+2
POWER POOL:
Transform: Werewolf LVL2
Dire Werewolf: 0 MP Cost (Turn into a half wolf monster.) Passive Ability
Infect: 5 MP Cost (5 Damage. 1-6 chance to infect with "Transform: Werewolf" Power Pool.) 2 Turn Cool-Down

In a battle like this, you can straight attack, or use abilities, or describe something daring you want to do. I will roll 1d6 for success rate of actions outside basic combat maneuvers.

Bruce and Olas Baker will return in 1 Turn.
+50 EXP! Level up will commence after the Boss Battle!
Diamond will be a 7-Year Old Girl for 3 Turns!
Owwwwwwww... That hurt! Stupid werewolf! I'm gonna shoot some rainbows straight at his face! The colors will be so blindingly strong, that they'll... blind him (hopefully)! And then I can bludgeon him to death with my Rainbow Staff! That'll show 'im!

I bravely attempt to use my charm ability to stop him from attacking this round!

"Grandma, what big teeth you have!"
Keep your distance away from him, guys. The last thing we want is to get infected.

I'll use my Nice ability alongside Diamond's Charm ability. Hopefully that will make it not attack.

Oh, and I'll have Harry summon some birds to swoop down at this guy.

It's got a lot of HP. If you're using your Nice ability, I'm not going to waste my Charm on the same round. I'm changing my move.

I need to know what's in the room with us though before I can actually do anything. Dudesoft, I'll take my turn as soon as you describe the room.

Yeah I liked your plan. But there will be plenty of time to do a full-on tactics style battle when I have more time to prepare it. This fight will hopefully get you guys a little more prepared for it. That or you'll die.

As for the room... I'll get back to you. At work until late, but I'm sure I can sort something out.

Well, OK, I'll just list some options then, in order of which ones I'd prefer to be able to do if they're possible.

1) If I can find some way to climb up above the tables from the backs of them, like a stepladder or something, and look over them to be lookiing at Kristoff, I want to do that and toss some silverware at him.
2) Otherwise, if there's a way to get up onto a chandelier hanging above the middle of the room, I'll do that, but only if it's in a spot that's above the small "foyer" area Kristoff is in.
3) Otherwise, I want to start stacking chairs or something to make my own way to get up on the side of the table and overlook Kristoff.

I am way way way way way way way too sleepy to even post right now. But here is a map. There is a second floor accessed through the "back door" but it is unimportant right now and actually does not overlook the lower level. It is walled off.

Tables and chairs are EVERYWHERE. I didn't include the boxing ring, because it doesn't matter either. We'll say it's by the right-side villagers.
The tables are running up and down the hall filling as much space as comfortably possible.
There can be a chandelier between the middle two firepits if you want. I'm game for that. Now for sleep.

FIREPITS

Okay new plan! I will move to the other side of the central fire pit from the werewolf, circlestrafing as necessary to keep myself separated from it. From there I'm going to chuck burning firewood at the werewolf.
