Hi, just thought I'd post here. I bought RPG Maker VX Ace several months ago and am just now getting around to playing with it and starting a game of my own. I'm code naming it "Epic2D" at the moment as I don't have a good name picked out lol.

I'd post some screenshots of my work but I'm not sure if it goes here or where it goes really.

I have programming experience, and I'm somewhat artistic. I do some pixeling and 3d modeling though I'm self tought.

Any help and encouragement or pointers you could offer would be great. I am the kind of person to be friendly and stick around for a long time once I sign up for something so expect to see me around. :D

It kinda sounds to me like you want to be directed to the screenshot topic.

Also, welcome to RMN!
Oh yeah something like that is what I was looking for among other things. Thanks for the direction. :)

I would have more makerscore If I did things.

Alright, pointers from the rude owl is a go!

Rule 1: Disregard everything the owl says unless the owl says not to.
Rule 2: Get an avatar with sunglasses. Preferably an owl or a pokemon. Or in my case, both!

In all seriousness, Marrend's suggestion of the screenshot topic is spot on if you want some feedback on your art/maps.

If you feel you need some help, go to the Help Request and Resources Forum, surely someone can help you. If you want some friendly nonsense you could head over to the Welp, Welp! forum. That's where all the wacky stuff/things irrelevant to every other forum go. Like "Mess-up a wish Foundation", that one's fun.

There are plenty of scripts and tutorials under the development tab should you require them.
If you feel you're good at writing, write reviews!
We like those.

Lastly, makerscore is love.
makerscore is life.

EDIT: Also, post lots.
EDIT2: As well as edit your posts. It makes you cool.
