When I looked at that thing and it's giant eye, I thought it looked so powerful... if it got out, who knows what it could do? It looks like the sort of beast who would destroy cities and devour countless people! I can't let that happen! Of course, there's no guarantee it can get out of this tomb. It could be stuck in that pit, for all we know. Perhaps it isn't as much as a threat as I thought? Hm, I don't know...

"You want to know what I think, guys? This place sucks!" Kairy states angrily as she sits down and plops her pack beside her. Wes places Razuna down and joins her, as does Zuko. Everyone grabs out a MREpper and starts chowing down as they discuss what to do next.
"Wes, care to heal these burns with soak?" Asks Zuko
"Sure, give me a moment..." agrees Wes.
"Hey, Zuko, you still have that true-sight glyph?"
"Yeah, but what does-" Zuko starts to talk when he is interrupted by Wes' Soak! 1! Zuko sputters and coughs, gets on his hands and knees and starts heaving! "Auck! Urlgu!" Kairy quickly wraps her arms around his waist and starts thrusting upwards with her elbows! Zuko's lungs have been filled with water!
Wes starts pounding his back while Kairy performs the motions. EVewntually, Zuko coughs up bloody water and starts breathing very heavily.
"Jeez! *cough* that hurt... a lot! *cough*!" says Zuko.
"Well, seems that didn't go so well! Speaking of, how do you purpose we cure Razuna's paralysis?"
Kairy walks towards Razuna, shakes him a bit 5! and she hears a SNAP in his spine! "Ugh! What a day this is!" yells Razuna, cured from paralysis!
"Heh, that was lucky..." states Kairy as Razuna asks for a MREpper. She provides one and Razuna commences eating it.
"Hey, you know, maybe I can use this glyph to see if there are trick walls in this place?"
"Wow, a smart idea from you Zuko! Color me surprised." remarks Razuna.
"Ha ha, let's get on with it then." Zuko says as he rises and walks towards one of the dead-end doorways.
Pulling out the glyph, he holds it towards the wall when a quickly purple beam shoots out! The wall fades and inside lies... a golden statue! It resembles a creature outside of Zuko's experience.
"Well look at that, this place DOES have treasure!" Zuko says as he walks in the small room and picks up the 2 foot golden statue. Bringing it out, he looks towards his group and presents it to them.
"Well, seems we're one step closer to paying off the "Debt" we owe to The Contractor. Wes, care to carry that?" asks Kairy.
"Sure thing, I can handle it with ease!" Wes assures her as he places the statue in his pack. Zuko had taken one last look around the tiny square room before noticing 2 power stones! He picks them up and informs everybody. A shadow catches Zuko's eye, despite the entire hall constantly moving with them. It disappears and Zuko brushes it off.
"Now what? Should I try the other spots?" Zuko asks as everyone finishes their MREpper. Everyone hears a muted roar and are reminded of the monster... everyone shudders simultaneously.

The jagged landscape and mist aren't the kind of thing you need to put yourself through. Trotting forward awkwardly you make your way towards the Misty Forest.
Later rather than sooner you arrive, hearing the sounds of insects as you approach. Entering the forest, you climb on and around trunks and roots of alarmingly increasing size. With no way to go but forward, soon you happen upon a giant stone monolith. It's pitch black and has a rather hypnotic sheen. There appears to be carvings on the surface, words written in a dead language. Your fur stands up, you whip your body 180 degrees and look at the top of the stone monolith. On it is an odd creature, glowing a vibrant blue with a mouth and eye on one side of it's face and several eyes on the other side. The mouth get's cut off before it can go across the entirety of it's face.
"Hello there little doggy, you lost?" It asks in a voice filled with malice and curiosity.
"Bark! Bark! Rgghhh...!?" Is all you can utter and the creature lets out an empty, churlish laugh and says
"Well, you certainly are viscous! Weh-che-che-che... I think I'll help you out with a spot of information!" It says and your ears perk up. The creature howls with that churlish laughter as it starts circling the monolith, an odd tether barely visible going from it to the stone.
"This thing is called the Mutae Stone, I once was quite the looker, I'll have you know! Once, in my house I smelled the smell, the kind of smelly smell of death. It wasn't pretty, I'll tell you that! Well, once I started to look for that smell. I'd managed to enter my basement, I walked down a rather long hallway and... BAM!"
The creature rushes you at an alarming speed but stops short of it's tether. It's face dark with rage.
"I was burning all over! Oh my, it blinded me and my being from feeling! Of course I blacked out afterwards but THE NERVE of whatever-it-was! NOBODY BURNS ME!
Anyways... ooohhh... I can't bare to think!"
The creature starts moaning and floats to the ground. You stand your ground and watch the submissive figure.
"Bahahaha!" It yells as it flies upward as far as it can go when the tether, which brings it back down.
"Oh, it was terrible! I woke up in this BLASTED place! I wandered for I know not how long, and soon I was driven MAD with a terrible draining feeling! I happened upon this stone and touched it's smooth surface... oooohoooohh... my was it delightful! But soon I felt change. Oh, how I flailed! How I fled! AND HOW I FAILED! I WAS TRANSFORMED INTO THIS MONSTROSITY YOU SEE BEFORE YOU!"
The creature then hugs the stone and starts to sob a baleful sob. The cries wrench you of some of your sanity but you regain your composure. The creature does the same, and as if it never was sobbing before it speaks once more.
"So you see, this thing changes you. It then traps your soul here for eternity! Oh how I wish to be free..."
The creature then drift off, forgetting you were ever there. Then just as suddenly it flies towards you, stopping right in front of you face.
"YooouuU!! You'll help me, yes? You have to help me! I can't STAND this thing! I WANT IT GONE. DESTROYED. PERISH IT I DON'T CARE HOW! I'll tell you informaiton if you do! Oh won't you please help me...hee..hee-hee hee! Bahahaha! Oh that would be wonderful!
Quite wonderful..."
Once more the creature floats into a submissive form, but this time it stays.
Then, very abruptly is straightens up and starts to circle the monolith.
"Oh, but if you don't I won't mind. After all, you listened to my story! Venting like that tends to lift your spirit... HA! Ahahaha, spirit! Lifts it, bahahaha!" It laughs as it rises off the ground.
Welp.

That golden statue was the first good suprise of the day, after going through a lot of misfortunes, it was goid to actually have made a progress in our mission. I said to the group:
"Well, looks like things are starting to look good for us!"
After hearing Kairy's question, I answer:
"Honestly, I want a life here, in the human realm. It's not that I appreciate my origin, but in Hell we have to fight for everything, even for the bathroom. And I'm not excactly the best "figther" there... So after this is finished, I'll afford a more powerful disguise spell, buy a good house and find a way to make a living. Well... First, we have to get out of here alive..."
After that, I look at the halls and say:
"Ok, anyone thinks I should use the Gylph somewhere else? Wait... the Power Stones! I think it's time to see who uses them, altough I believe that Kairy should have one of them. And while we're on that: Since we're telling our reasons for the treasure, maybe you could tell us yours, Wes?"

Those of my comrades who happen to look closely can briefly see the flash of greed in my eyes at the sight of the golden statue Zuko found. It disappears quickly, however, and as Wes puts the treasure in his backpack, I'm all concentrated again.
"Huh... That actually does sound like a very understandable reason, Zuko. Looks like we're not too different in that regard after all. Though Wes, I don't really understand why you'd want to fight a possible danger before it has even emerged... Well, you could call it a pre-emptive strike, but I honestly doubt you'd be able to do something about that monster alone by yourself. And what have those people from this town ever done for you that you're so concerned about them?
Anyway, yeah, I guess using your Glyph on some other parts of this place seems like as good an idea as any, Zuko. It worked out this time, after all."
I also try to take a closer look around our surroundings and look for anything especially odd.
Then I notice I had left my crossbow loaded all this time and hastily proceed to unload it. I absolutely don't want it to break. As I put my crossbow away, I also realize I could have easily picked up my hatchet back in the monster room after we won the fight, but forgot to do so due to all the shocking surprises.
"Ah, blast! I'm such a moron!
Well, whatever. What's done is done. I think I'll take that Power Stone, Zuko. Thanks."

I'd say Zuko could use the power stone. Razuna has more or less been able to handle all situations so far, while a bad roll on Zuko's side usually lead to bigger problems. Giving him a boost might significantly reduce the danger of him taking serious damage.
It's true, especially when Dark Fire is involved... ;_;
