THE HIGHLANDER'S TOMB (TEAM FORUM RPG)

CloseRight, I'll light a torch on... some fire somewhere (there's a fire around here somewhere right? Like maybe a lit torch on the wall or somethin) and whether I have a lit torch or not I'll run with everyone else.
---------------------Turn 63---------------------
"Run, everyone!"
Kairy says as she starts limping down the hall swiftly.
Everyone agrees and follows suit, but Kairy can't keep pace with everyone.
Wes easily solves this by picking her up and running!
Zuko holds up the glyph, and it shines once more, revealing that the floor was actually moving! With a quickened pace the party slowly makes their way passed the illusory wall that once looked like a never-ending hallway, and appear at a door. Quickly they walk int a dark room. Wes puts down Kairy and lights a torch. The room is instantly lit.
The room is a long rectangle, the party had come out of the middle of the longest side. There are two doors, each on the short walls. The long wall across them are hieroglyphs that no one can read. Lined along the walls are many, many pots, all with infinity symbols on them.

4! Bazyli cats miasmal currents on the tether! The miasmal energies are drawn into Bazyli, and soon the tether dissipates. The miasmal currents solidify MAGI inside of you, and it drops down in a Ball of Magi.
"OHoohohohohohoooooOO! Wonderful, little doggie! You really are a LIFE SAVER!
BahhahahahaaaA! Life! How I wish I still had that! Ah well, a promise is a promise, let the surprise gift come first!"
The spirit then launches itself into the sky. You look up for the first time and see a giant floating temple! You see the spirit enter. After a while it emerges bearing an orb.
"This! This, I have no idea what it is. I WAS going to explore that temple and claim it's treasure for myself when THIS BLASTED ROCK TRAPPED ME! AAAAUUUUGHHH!"
It screams with malice and makes many threatening hand gestures at the Mutae Rock.
After it's tantrum, the spirit breathes heavily and speaks to Bazyli
"Well, take the treasure! Now, for the second part... I know a way back to the realm of the living! OHohohohohoho, YES! Quite amazing information, yes? I feel inclined to share it with you..."
The creature stares away into the forest, frowning as if making a decision.
"Right! Through the Misty Forest, that's here if you didn't know, there lies a GIANT pyramid! It's called the Highlander's tomb! Oh my, it's wonderfully bright, wonderfully crafted... WONDERFULLY DANGEROUS! There's a giant spiral of miasmal energy that's said to come from the material world! With it we can go through it back to the realm of the living!"
As the creature claims this, you look down solemnly.
"Ahahaha- ah? Oh, of course you can come with me, doggie! My savoir deserves as much! Come, let us travel!"
Unable to break the news, you reluctantly follow it.
After a few moments of walking you both happen upon a... thing.
A stone thing, with carving all over it.
"Uh, hm? This world holds new fascinations for me! Oh..."
The creature looks about.
"Lost souls are coming dog... I'd know that sensation anywhere! They've always come for me before, but in my life I was once a magician... ohohoho, my peers told me I had a frozen heart, and it was true! WeheheheheeeEEE!"
The creature squeals with delight.
"Oh, soon, soon I shall meet with them again! Oh, but I get ahead of myself..."
As it says this 5 lost souls surround you!
They all prepare soul drain, react! The spirit inhales deeply...

Anyway, I go ahead and check whether the two doors can be opened or not. If they can, I peek inside, but don't enter the next rooms yet.

Zuko looks around the room 1! and spies nothing new. In fact, somehow he's managed to know LESS about the room he's in! Kairy checks both door, and they're both open. The one on the left contains and alter and the one on the right is a small room with five more doors! Three on the other walls, one on the ceiling and another on the floor.
Once Kairy is finished, Wes feels his power resotred and casts Soothe Wounds! 6! Kairy's leg muscles are now sprained! After a two more turns of rest she can walk it off.
Razuna inspects the hieroglyphs 4! and sees that they are really giant pictographs, 6 in total that go from ceiling to floor. Of course, he has no way of knowing what they mean or what order to read them in.
So now what?

The spirit emits a frost breath! 5! and freezes 4 of the Lost Souls! It then goes insane and smashes every single one! Bazyli uses Holy Covenant! 2! Holy light sputters and fades, failing to harm the lost soul. The lost soul is about to use Life Drain when The Spirit charges it and grapples it! The Lost Soul squirms and screeches in the spirit's grasp as it slowly freezes. Once a sculpture, the spirit proceeds to... eat it!? After lots of sounds of crunching and ice breaking it says
"Deeeelicious~! Oh my what is is very.... refreshing! Now then, shall we be off, little doggie? Ohohoooo wait, the stone, what do you purpose we do with it?"
As if waiting for you to say something the spirit stares at you. Then it emits a howl of laughter "OHoHoho! RIght, you're a DOG! I think I'll just hold on to this then," it says as it picks it up "Now let's get a move on! Did I mention I liked pitbulls?"
Then the creature goes on and on about ice magic. Spewing nonsense and telling you incantations that actually make sense! In fact, thanks to the spirit's lecture you learn the recipe for Ice Runes! One Ice Essence and one stone of any kind, infused at an alter.
Soon you both step out of the forest. "Well well, bewilderment and awe strike me!
Such is the effects of the Highlanders Tomb! But..." The spirits looks about.
"Where's the pillar? WHERE!? COULD I HAVE BEEN MISTAKEN!? WAS IT NOT AT THE HIGHLANDERS TOMB!?!" The spirit then yells profanity at itself and bangs it's head on a tree. Then, it starts sobbing. After a few moments it has a realization.
"Maybe we're not- no, this is without a doubt the tomb... but, the spiral of energy surely would attract many... perhaps there are guardians? YES! THAT MAKES SENSE, EEEeeheheeeeE! That has got to be it! We must activate the pillar somehow! Genius Shiva, absolutely geniusaaaahhhahahaaaaAH!! Let's get a move on doggie, I might need your help!"
Starting towards the tomb you both are halted by a gate, no doubt the entrance. It's a massive stone door with a glyph in the middle.
"Oh... well this is something new. Look there, you see those levers?"
You look to where the spirit points and see what you didn't notice before, three levers above the door and to the left.
"And over there, there's an offering alter! We place something there, then flip the switches! Of course, it has to be in a certain order... which order would that be I wonder? Oh, and what shall we put in the alter, hmmm? What do you think doggie!? YOU MUST HAVE AN IDEA, OUR LIVES DEPEND ON IT!" it howls and grabs your shoulders, shaking you slightly with desperation in it's eyes. The just as quickly, the desperation fades.
"No stress! No stress! Tell you what, I'll make communication easy! Bark once then pause for the first lever, bark twice then pause for the second lever and bark thrice then pause for the third lever. Give me any order, then we'll place this thing in the alter, only thing we have unless we want to pick up a rock and place it. Growl if you want me to do that!"
Then the creature strokes you from head to tail gently, and you feel slight affection. "Oh, I can see intelligence in your eyes! I've a fondness for that! Now bark to it! Eeehehheee..."
