(well, in-game Wes is a bit more righteous than me, but I'd say we DO have plenty in common...

-------Wes + Bazyli + Zuko-----------------
Fight!/Flight!
As the Balgroth rumbles over Wes and Zuko, Bazyli grabs his rope and sits on a comfortable looking rock and watches, waiting for one of his spells to go off cooldown. Cupping his hands in front of his mouth he shouts "Go Wes! Go Zuko!"
We and Zuko, on the other hand, slowly look above them to see the Balgroth's Underbelly! Wes (1 >=D ) and Zuko (5) attempt to flee! Zuko quickly dashes out from under, escaping to a glowing corner of the mine.
Wes attempts to do this, but his armor weighs him down for too long!
*SLAM*
The Balgroths quickly crushes Wes as he tarts glowing red! Bazyli cries out "Noooo!" just before he looks back up at the ceiling to notice with his PERC that the glowing balls of light are sparks, and they're much more of them now.
Wes: Crushed D= Holy Longsword: Pail Armor: Soak on cool down: 200 CEIL
Bazyli: Holy Covenant on cooldown, shocked at Wes being crushed! Cannonball and MAGI Chain: Wimpy Leather Armor: Holy Covenant on cooldown:

Zuko: All skills available. Wes got crushed! Demoni-imbued sword called Katarina: Whelpfishscale Armor set: 105 CEIL
Balgroth: Crushing Wes! Readying his fire breath. He also looks like he's getting wet.....

I slowly try to get up, get my stuff together and prepare to leave the inn. You sit up and shift your feet to the floor, which seems rather cold. You grab your pack, put it on you and grab your crossbow. You brace yourself and then stand up slowly, getting lightly dizzy.
"Yes the demon.... I believe it was one of the fishermen I met at the river. He was old and had a cane...."
"Well, I'll be sure to investigate THAT then...." is the mage's reply.
The dizziness fades away as the white mage speaks "Leaving so soon?"
"Yes, I've got to meet up with my team." you answer "By the way, how long was I out?"
"You were out for about an hour." Is the mage's reply. "Sorry to say my services don't come free. Are you able to pay?"
"How much?"
"I require 200 CEIL. If you can't pay now that's fine, after all it's not your fault you got defiled."
"Ah, yes I simply don't have the money, but I will." You assure the mage.
"Very well. I'll be here for a few days, jut make sure you pay!"
With this, you leave the room and the inn. You look around town but don't see them. They must still be at the mines, but whatever the three of them are doing they surely wouldn't need four, would they? Perhaps it's best to check on Razuna?

I'll throw a stone to one of the murkals to call his attention,
then wait for him behind a rock and kill him.
I'll gut him (Gross) and then use his skin both as a disguise and an armor. (Even grosser)
And then get to the cages as close as I can. 5!
Picking up a mall rock, you toss it at the nearest Murkal. It makes a sort of *Wrrryylsh* sound and moves quickly towards where you are. Hiding behind the rock you wait patiently.
The murkals round the corner when *SLASH* you rip it open with your gladius and quickly drag the body behind the rock.
You gut it, pouring the contents off to the side. You then slip into the skin of the Murkal. Moving quietly and quickly you slip past unnoticed by the other Murkal and get right next to the cages. The Feralls barks at you but the cook Murkal whips it with a thornymoss whip! it quiets down quickly. You sidle over to the Raven' Cage whispering to Gourd "Hang tight buddy."
The scenario remains the same barring the fact you're able to slip by them undetected. Gourd recognizes you and is staying calm and willing to do as you command should you release him. The fat Murkal stomps once and another Murkal presents itself to him. The fat Murkal picks it up and starts munching on it! The cries it makes and the crunching of scale and bone is horrendous! The other Murkals cower in fear. Looks like Fatty is getting hungry.

Wait a moment. I do have enough money to pay the mage. But I still need some money to buy equipment. Instead of just going away without paying anything, I give her 100 CEIL and promise to pay the rest later. Since I can't remember where Razuna has gone, I'll slowly walk towards the miners' camp (I'm still dizzy and have no idea you guys are in danger, after all).

Wes was at the verge of death just like I was a few hours ago, but this time, in a more painful way. And looking at Bazyli's horror expresion just made it worse... I couldn't let him die, so I prepared myself to attack, and then I said to the Balgroth:
"LEAVE HIM ALONE, YOU MONSTER!"
I attack the part of the beast that is crushing Wes (I assume is the foot) with Reaver Slash.
If it works, and the beast gets damaged enough to stop crushing Wes, I attempt to carry Wes to a safe place. If it doesn't works, but the beast changes his target to me, I still attempt to carry Wes away from the Danger Zone. If all of that fails, I then will have no choice but to leave Wes to his fate and run away from the Danger Zone...

(so um is it too late to set up a Small Barrier to protect myself from being crushed (or at least slow down the crushing)? I'm guessing such a barrier wouldn't do much against such a large foe anyway but a man can hope)

I'm back! Again!

the 5 cages (I'm guessing they have locks), then I'll start running
like hell with my winged friend.

You charge at the beast's foot and slash at the sanguine crystal! It bursts into blood and shatters, leaving a crippled Balgroth on it's.... stub... and off of Wes!
The beast, however, has charged up and releases it's now aqua breath upon you! What in the world!?
Wes, after a major groan of pain after being released from the crushing uses a voodoo doll ad some pixie dust to bring up a small barrier (6!) protecting Zuko and himself from the now-aqua breath! However, the breath attack actually deflects and goes up to the ceiling, splashing something and causing some sparks to go into a flurry!
Bazyli, who has observed the sparks, now knows there are creatures with stalactite's as shells! They glow a brilliant yellow and rain down thunder onto the Balgroth! The Balgroth, who had absorbed Wes's soak spell element, is electrified! It cannot move for a while now! The critter aon the ceiling, which can only be described as electites fall off the ceiling, their shells piercing the Balgroth! The balgroth writhes slightly but soon is dead still.....
Bazyli rushes towards wes, unable to contain his joy that is companion lives!
"Oh thank goodness, Wes, you're alive!" Bazlyi yells
"Ah, yes I do appear to still breath. Quite excellent! Just goes to show you it'll take more than a three-legged beast to stop one as righteous as I! Oh, but I'm... tired.... really tired.... I'll just take a quick nap..." and he's asleep!
One look around the mine, and you see moonscale and quartzine everywhere with pickaxes littered about. You also see a girl in the entrance to the room, eyes wide.

After walking out of the inn with all your gear you slowly walk to the miner's camp. After passing by some merchants and an old man trying to sell runes covered in brown markings, you see the entrance to the mine, with miners all gathered around it! "What's happened?" is your question, to which a scaled lizard man replies "None of your bussssinesss you little harlot! Now be-" however he is interuppted by you fist, and he falls to the ground.
Walking over his body as you enter the cave. It's very dark and you have to feel your way around a few boulders when you see a sort of entrance to a larger room. Upon looking into the room you see a giant, bleeding creature, blood-soaked Wes and Zuko, and Bazyli over Wes while Zuko stands breathing heavily.
