It's a weird concept. If my life was perfect, but I KNEW it was a lie, I'd prefer the harsh truth. However, if I didn't know it was a lie, I'd obviously be too ignorant to know any better and would be perfectly content.

I heard once somewhere that those who seek the truth are intellectuals and those that claim to have found it are fanatics.
