lying about having an action is fine. When I say fake day actions, I mean anything bolded.

if your role didn't say that you could shoot someone during the day, this would be illegal. you could, however, lie about having such an action, as long as you didn't actually attempt to 'perform' it.
lynching dudesoft x8 was probably illegal, but i think it was the first post of the game or something, and thus, funny.

So there everybody was. at Ryu's birthday party. an inter-dimensional birthday party. Everyone's invited! Whatever. I'm not putting effort into the flavor. *reclines in lazy boy*
So anyway, it came to that time. The time of every birthday party that is most celebrated. The eating...of the cake.
But, to everyone's shock... Ryu's birthday cake...had been SMASHED
Ryu stared at the smashed cake, twitching.
"only one person could be so heartless.... Deathevn!!!!"
The guests started to speak up, but were quickly interrupted.
"jesus christ. I can't believe he did this. holy shit. What an asshole."
Several minutes passed before anyone spoke again.
"I-"
"DEATHEVN!!!!!!!!!!" Ryu screamed as he burst out the front door, running off...somewhere. presumably to kill Deathevn.
Ryu, town-aligned hero, has left his own birthday party N0.

Should I or should I not make the over-used unfunny reference
I'd be lying if i said I didn't want to make the obvious joke
I will actively engage in "funny business," as you refer to it, if I wish to do so, sir. Though I do believe I shall refrain in engaging in "funny business," for this time I have happened to gain a role that is not treacherous in nature. Nay, this role I have been given is quite innocent, sir. So, though I reserve the right to engage in "funny business," I shall respect your wishes and not do so, due to the fact that engaging in such "funny business" would most likely hold no point other than pointlessly causing my lynching and causing town to lose one of it's members. Therefore, it is imperative that I refrain from doing so, and so refraining from doing so is what I shall do.
Also I think I'm gonna talk all fancy (like that ^^^) this entire game because it's fun, it'll be fun.
