JJJ7, I have severe protagonist envy. They get all the chicks. I kinda hate that Ryu, actually... It just boils my blood. He doesn't deserve a cake!

The characters are chosen by us and thus have nothing to do with the roles, right?
I'm pretty sure Cave just doled out roles at random since it wouldn't make sense to pick a role based on the characters, just in case everyone chose heroes.
I guess it could based on our characters, though, just going by my own - Katt. And man, yeah, a town-aligned Myria/Deathevan would be hilarious! XD
If the characters are secret and have nothing do with our roles, then why would we even have the option to pick them?

My character, in particular, heavily contradits my alligment, although the ability does fit pretty well.

Unity I trust you seem to have your head on straight. Out of our colorful menagerie of characters, who do you believe is guilty? What reasons might Platinum Ashes have had to smash that cake in? Why does Katt love to smash things with her staff? I've not played BoF I do not know these things.

I guess it's time to get serious. First off, where's Gourd? I don't think we've heard from him since the game officially started. Other than that, here's my thoughts concerning other players:
Sooz is being silly/wacky, but knowing Sooz personally and how she acts when we play games, that's totally normal.
Happy is grilling a few people, but I think that's an appropriate attitude at this point, to see if someone will slip up.
That one post by Wes where he put on a silly voice made me pause, but I think it's my gut-reaction gone wrong, a false-positive since he was scum last time.
That's not much for leads so far, and I'm at a disadvantage because I don't really have enough experience playing with everyone to know how they act during mafia games. I can honestly say that I'm not feeling any legit scum vibes for anyone yet.
I'm pretty much in the same boat. I've got no real leads, either. I'm not too suspicious of wildwes cuz its too early to tell if that means anything or if he's just town trying to ask questions.

Haha, no, I'm from the states. My brother's been to Australia and he says it's an awesome place to visit, though :D

If I recall the character correctly (and it has been some time since I've BOF2'ed), smashing things with her staff is pretty much Katt's answer to everything? I'm sure that, if I am wrong, I will be severely corrected on this point with Liberty's return to the thread.
Anyway, to answer the question posed...

...at this juncture? I dunno. I know that Liberty and unity's posts about dealing with the cake seem appropriate for their characters. I also know that they are party members in their respective games (Sub-note: Momo is a master in BOF4). However, I presume that meta-knowledge isn't a thing to absolutely rely on for this game.
Gourd's a cool guy so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and maybe he's just been really busy. Granted, that may change if we don't hear from him somewhat soon.

I am not sure what you are eggspecting out of me, Happy; I respeggt the sacrifices my brethren made to help celebrate our dear friend's birthday. To smash the cake would be to throw away their noble gesture. Whoever did this is truly a bad egg.

Not absolutely. However, I would still encourage you to share any BoF lore-based theories and believes you might have:
many of us here have not played the games and it's still somewhat quite likely that CDIB modelled his setup after the story in some way or another.

many of us here have not played the games and it's still somewhat quite likely that CDIB modelled his setup after the story in some way or another.
Also, the usefulness of that knowledge will be limited, as we can't really make very convincing theories without knowing who is which character. Unless your theory involves just Katt and Momo, as I think we're the only one's who are being super-obvious with our characters. Oh, and maybe Sooz, too.
