Yeah, I know. Kentona made a mention once about a third of his posts are not accessible to the general public since they're in the staff forum, I assumed what that was....though, I like cake :)

2107 games on site, 896 as yet not reviewed therefore 1211/2107 = 57.48% review level. It's gone up again, yay!
We seem to average about a percent a month, Liberty & Nessy, we need that review blitz of the IGMC thoughts. You've already done the work, think about the Makerscore. XD

Maybe some kind of reviewing event during November, a "Thanks for giving me a review" type event to skyrocket those numbers!

We will be having a Secret Santa again this year, but a review event in November might be an idea too. Could aim for only those games with no reviews again, get the number down even more~ (And your MS even higher! :DDD )

Personally I think it's too early for another review event myself, but hey if it's going I'll be there.
Also we've got 2 game related events going at the moment, MOG and RtD, so it's not like that's being ignored or anything.
Oh and 'job' implies pay, so nope not mine or Kylaila's...unless she'd getting a stipend of which I am unaware.

Oh, and since we’re too cheap to afford anything around here at the moment (you know, with the economy and stuff), Kylaila’s getting paid in plastic shrimp; I’m being paid in mounds, and mounds of used bubble wrap, and you have your choice between a box of expired coupons from a bunch of dysfunctional, overpriced stores in the heart of the district mall or a giant inflatable chicken that sometimes likes to make noises.
Yeah...I think Deckiller used that a couple of times to scare away some kids once...

Release something doesn't sound right either. I mean we are having a revive a dead project which would clash with that.

This is why you have a back-up plan, just in case, and do TWO PROJECTS - TWO at the exact same time to prepare yourself for something like this (which never works out well in real life).
Actually, a video type of event would be pretty nice too. Although, that would mean I would have to dust off my old video editing software and try not to sound like I’m in the middle of doing a Chef Boyardee commercial. :P

Just an FYI - the revive the dead event is basically RS with prizes and a time limit to get shit done by... minus anything that isn't a game. So, you know, that would be awkward. ;p
I was actually thinking, how about Review LPs instead of just normal reviews? That lends a fresh twist to the event but also helps grind out those numbers a bit more~

Yeah, I know I did, but for something like that I actually may need one. :P
I have no idea how LP's work having never done one, and in truth not really intending to ever do one, but I haven't seen any that give stars etc. and show up on the review tab. Would the numbers that Kentona produces, which we are using to determine reviewed percentage actually acknowledge them? I mean I had a look at Primeforce, which has the latest Let's Play's that I saw and though it has 14 videos on the media tab it also has 2 written reviews and that's all that seems to affect the star rating, so how do LP's assign that as a review?
If the intent is to grind down the unreviewed numbers, I don't know how a LP achieves that and I would be happy to be enlightened.

If an LP or LT has a small written component (a summary) then it can be added as a review. You just have to use the youtube/video tags in the body of the review, add the summary and other pertinent details, then submit. Of course, a round-down in the video is the idea. It's more of a video review with a summary of the main points written so that those who don't want to watch the video get the gist of your 'review'.
We've allowed them for a while now but no-one's done one yet. It'd be nice to see that ball rolling a little.
