You're not. Platinum thought you joining when PMs were being sent out made you confirmed town, but Liberty already said she reassigned the unsent roles upon you joining.

You aren't confirmed town. Gourd (I think?) started a theory about you being confirmed town (or at least not the assassin) based on when the PM's came out but Liberty came in a basically debunked the theory that when a PM was sent would affect anything.

Someone take note: there are now two votes on lynching Ivoryjones, breaking the tie. This means that if she's the Tenkai star we're going to lose this game on day 0.
It would be cool yet potentially disastrous if there was an item that automatically ended the day phase and the assassin got it. I mean they could wait til someone had the most lynches and use it and then boom, day's over, that guy's dead.

Well, I mean, that statement is true no matter what; if anyone we lynch is the cherry on top, we lose. Conversely, if anyone we lynch is the single assassin, we win. So, there you go.

I think it's worth noting that this time round a mislynch could mean an immediate loss. I hate to admit it, but it might actually be best for a no-lynch this time round, surely?
I don't know if Ivoryjones is the Tenkai star. That's the whole point. Another thing, the assassin doesn't get here until day 1, so whoever is assassin likely isn't actively doing anything to discover who Tenkai star is, so figuring out who the assassin is on day 0 is probably going to be next to impossible.

Possible. I don't really have particular strong feelings about the prospect either way; I tend to be inclined toward a first-day no lynch, but it depends on what happens.
Either way, our odds for losing only go up. Hell, we could lose just by the assassin getting lucky.

Hey guys, just got hit with a great idea. Post less. It's not even day one yet and I've had so much catching up to do. And I don't really feel like we've gotten anywhere. But idk.
I wouldn't doubt someone being the tenkai or the assassin just because they got a PM later then someone else. It could be more likely that they have another non-town role, though.
Also, would it be out of the question for the assassin to have assistance from another player?

Although an incorrect lynch could be costly, the price of giving the Assassin a free night-phase is also higher in this game mode.
Yes, we have about a 1/20 chance to lynch the Tenkai, but every nightphase we give the assassin he/she has a 1/19 chance of killing the Tenkai as well.
So prolonging the game by refusing to take lynches is just as risky, isn't it?

Mostly it's just people establishing their posting style. Paper trails and all that. Traditionally, it seems like people who don't post get suspected as the bad guys, so everyone's trying to avert that.

At this point, I'm not sure anything is out of the question unless Libby says as much. We are go for rampant paranoia!

Not if some town have the ability to protect the target, even if they don't know who the target or assassin is.
