So far, the only comment that had struck me as suspicious is this one by Happy:

where he responds to a list of accusations by Cave'd. The reasons on that list were fairy weak. In fact I think Cave'd may have been trolling with that list and I don't think he actually suspect Ivoryjones for those reasons.

I find it kind of hard to believe that Happy was legitimately convinced, here. I guess it would be a pretty reckless thing for him to do, to just hop on potential lynch that quickly, and maybe he was just 'poking' Ivory. Still, it strikes me as a little off.

they are actually very good. the only reason you would not support them, is if yo do not understand them.

Really tired of seeing that "~" thing.

I'm at school right now and was gonna be back till 10 hrs when I made that post. Don't feel like typing huge walls of text on my phone right now but you know, had to make my presence somehow, hence that.

Not sure about piano but I think llan is town.

the problem with this is twofold: 1. two people greeting ivory at the same time (ilan and piano) in exactly the same way. except one was french, the devil's language. 2. someone saying "Hi!" should give no insight into their alignment, for a townie.

You may argue that Ivory's stance on Ilan's alignment was based on Ilan's previous posts. This is impossible for two reasons. 1. Bird's posts up to that point were all bad and 2. Basic human psychology dictates that, if that was indeed the reason for Ivory thinking Ilan is town, she would discuss this first, before moving on to ancillary topics.

When questioned as to why she was unsure on Piano, ivory said this:

Once again, focusing on the idea that saying "Hi!" somehow is a .... 'town' thing to do. Let's look at these previous posts of piano's:

Okay, Libby already said that the stars wouldn't be the same as in the game, so why does Cave think telling us he is Riou, the Tenkai Star is going to convince anyone of...well, anything?

Oh wait. this is it. this is the only post piano made in the entire thread, before saying "Bonjour" to ivory. So, not only did Ivory decide there was something fishy about Piano's 'posts' up till that point in the thread, and then choose to never elaborate on what exactly was wrong with them, it turns out that Piano did not even have 'posts' in the thread before that moment. Just one. And it looks pretty innocuous.

From this, it becomes fairly clear that Ivory's reads are manufactured.

other than that, all of ivoryjones' posts in this thread are in defense of herself. she makes zero effort to scumhunt, lurking this thread until her name is mentioned. her posting shows a clear desire for self-preservation, but no desire for...catching bad guys.

in case i have to explain even further, only scum feel a need to manufacture needs for no reason, as they have no real reads, as they know who is scum.

this game was upscaled from 12 players to 19, or something, so it is almost assured that, while there is only one assassin, still, the assassin is not acting alone.

Why on Earth would a jester self-vote at this point of the game? That'd just make sure he wouldn't get lynched.

Unless he's scum and that is exactly why he did it, but that still sounds like an overly ballsy move for day 0.

I think finding the assassin (and, to a lesser degree, independents that could threaten town) is a higher priority than jester-seeking at the moment.

i am pretty sure the assassin has SOME means of finding the tenkai, other than guesswork. we are never going to get 'concrete proof' as even things like cop investigations are subject to tomfoolery. the solution of 'doing nothing' just puts all of the deaths entirely in the assassin's hands, essentially just..flipping a weighted coin instead of playing mafia

Quite frankly, Happy is too good to try something as stupid as pretending to be a jester. And if he did, he'd probably be a lot more subtle about it.
