I've changed my avatar to fit more with the current situation and mood.
I thought I should summarize my Night Result flavor text. It's long and interesting (kudos, Libs! :D) but I can't make much of it. Other than me shooting my sister.
It starts with me watching my target (Cave) and saying that I've noticed that they don't look well and need a good rest. I've got my new gun in my pocket. I head out into the night and capture my target with my sleeping cloth.
I put them over my shoulder to return to my medical room, when I notice someone following me, a person in a dark hood. I figure they must be after my patient, so I draw my gun, and one moment the person was reaching for their face and in the next moment the bang of the gun sounds, and then I'm running away, and when I look back I notice a large man chasing after me!
I get lost and take a moment to rest and check on my patient, when something wizzes past my head, just missing me. I run to my room, bolt the door, and wait in the darkness for the footsteps to die out. I heal my patient with the needle, and wait in the room all night, terrified. I think of my sisters, and am told that more sadness awaits me.
So what I'm wondering is: Who was chasing me, and what barely missed me?

Dammit. The whole point of lynching PA first was because it confirmed Gourd_Clae as town. PA was the one who made the mason claim. I disabled Sooz last night. She's confirmed town. She can't be the assassin.
That's the game. We are really narrowed down, though. It stands as follows:

It'll be hard to make a case for SuNa. The way he finally claimed his character was very interesting and suggestive of the his claim that he's never played Suikoden II. I'm inclined to believe him.
He claimed to be the only black man in the game. I don't think the assassin would have made a claim quite like that. Then again, I've been wrong every time. I did at least think some usefulness would have come out lynching PA before Gourd so we could at least have the opinion of another confirmed town.
I'm partly to blame for that. I played really close to the chest the previous day. I never mentioned I was going to disable anyone and I didn't point out that PA's lynch would confirm Gourd as town because I didn't want to give the assassin any potential ammunition. I was worried if I revealed my plan, scum would pull a fast one to throw us off, like not kill again, which would have put the suspicion on Sooz.

So if you,Sooz, and Unity are confirmed town and you are the only girls that means either me or Suna is lying. I know I'm not.

It may not sway you much in my favor but I would like to point out that I role and character claimed waaaay before the gender issue came up (mostly because I needed to explain who I was to explain my role, saying "I have a dragon" with no context seemed weird to me but Idk how common dragons are in the Suikoden world). Suna only claimed once it became an issue. That seems suspicious to me.

No, at this point it go any which way. We've all done suspicious things throughout the game, and the lynch has been wrong every time. SuNa could just be really good at misinformation.
True. And both Suna and I have had active days and less active days so that can't really be used as a basis.

The odds are still in our favor, though. Piano still has a protection power, and I can jail Cave every night which means the assassin will also have to go through me to get to him, so that's at least two more nights of safety.

That might be the reason for the gender thing, but I think piano's reasoning that wes was the one chasing you makes more sense.
I haven't gotten any weird vibes from piano either but I would like to point out that the only two nights the assassin didn't kill were the nights piano was dead...
But if CAVE saw piano's death (and I'm pretty sure he said he witnessed it) wouldn't that put piano in the clear?
I actually want to hear from MASTER STRATEGIST because I want to make sure his night PM matches up with Unity's. I suppose she could be the assassin and jailing Cave instead of killing him was caused by wildwes' death, but that would be really weird, and the night I fought the assassin didn't suggest anything would or could happen on that level of weird. So if Cave's night action matches up with Unity's I'm just going to pretty much call her confirmed town.
So, yes, Ebeth. Flip a coin is literally what it's come down to. SuNa may have the more interesting claim, but you claiming gender before it was an issue does actually help your case.

It's better than you think Unity. The game's pretty much over and we're just going through the motions. Lynch one and I can disable the other, then lynch the next day.

Xenogears was amazing; back then I didn't think I could get into a game about giant robots. I gave it a try anyway (because it was a Square game) and I am so glad I did! It not only showed me that giant robots are cool, it was amazing and has a great cast of characters! (I kinda daydreamed about being Elly sometimes *>.<* A cool lady pilot having to deal with all the crazy revelations she was finding out about her world XD)

Wow, here I was all set to give up and wait for death! Thanks, Piano! I will forgive you for making that suspicious-looking hickey on me and just giving the slashficcers more ammo. We're ignoring the fact that I'm the only confirmed slasher here. :V
And now that we've exhausted all our options, I am going back to my original assumptions of suspicion

I didn't know what else to do. I figured best case scenario I'd catch the assassin. Next best, I'd give us another confirmed town in addition to Gourd. I should have seen his night kill coming, but I didn't think anyone else could. It was kind of like slipping on a banana peel when I saw the flavor.
