HOW DO I TO CREATE XYZ FILES? [NEEDED FOR FACESETS]

Hey, Kaigura here.
I'm feeling limited using the small amount of space for a character's avatar / faceset in the PNG format. I heard the XYZ file format allows me to have more room for the faceset. I've looked around but I still don't have a clue about how to create XYZ files for my game.

Is anyone here able to explain it to me?
You should be able to pick it as a save option in a program like Photoshop. (Or just change the extension of .png to .xyz) I'm not sure that it allows more room. I'm not even sure what you mean by more room, tbh. I've never found .png files to be limited and I can't imagine a faceset would need that much room in any case.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

XYZ files are just PNG files that are saved differently. They don't offer any more space, any more colors, or any other features. The only difference is that people who don't know how to use RPG Maker won't be able to open or edit your resources.

The only way to create one is to open RM2K, go to the Resources screen, import a PNG image, and then export it as an XYZ image. No other program except RPG Maker 2000/2003 uses this file type. (Other programs might be able to make their own files that also have a .xyz extention, but it is a different, unrelated file type, just with the same letters.)
