I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

OK, everyone's actually posted. The least active people are MurieltheMuriel and MajoracanKing. MajoracanKing posted only a single message in which he did nothing but quote someone else about something non-game-related (didn't even reply to it, just quoted it), while MurieltheMuriel posted only a single message in which she stated she was not planning to participate on day 1.
I vote for #lynch MajoracanKing. If we're going to lynch someone then let's lynch the guy who's not playing anyway.

Arguments between people in different time zones can certainly occur over the course of multiple day phases. And there's no particular reason for the night phase to last more than an hour, as long as we all know ahead of time when it will be. In this glorious age of internet and smartphones, people can post messages from anywhere in the world at any time of day!
...do you REALLY want to be here? Because it doesn't sound like you actually want to play the game, you just seem to want to get it overwith with a minimum of fuss. Which is sort of the opposite of how these things go, so if you're not that interested in playing, we can just lynch you and then you won't have to pay attention anymore.
I mean, if you're so desperate to get your postcount in the black, you don't need to play mafia. Just go make a topic about Current Contentious Issue and argue with people.

What? I'm the one who does want to play the game. I'm annoyed at the game getting postponed and delayed. Jeroen told us we can't play yet and have to wait a week. If that doesn't annoy you, you're the one who doesn't care and doesn't really want to be here.
I think there's a difference between wanting to play the game and realising that people have other things in their mind at this point in the year. I don't expect people to grab some of that Christmas turkey to go sit on the computer and start posting shit like "I am a serial killer" on an internet forum

If so, seems like all the more reason to put strict time limits in place this time around. It doesn't have to be exactly 24 hours per day, but I certainly wouldn't expect it to be more than 48 hours.
An eternity would be an understatement. But even the smaller games take like two weeks normally. Just chill.

Yeah OK, I live alone and hate everyone so I constantly forget that for other people Christmas apparently lasts more than one day. The holiday stuff excuse makes sense, it just didn't occur to me that holiday stuff might've already started for some people.

Yeah, Christmas is definitely more than just a one-day thing LockeZ, for me at least. Usually I spend half a day driving to relatives' house and another half a day driving back, and usually for the (2-4) days I'm AT the relatives' house I'm busy doing stuff with them and can't really be hanging around here playing mafia.
I suppose Jeroen could have started this game after Christmas or something but honestly, I do like his solution to this problem.

i have an actual case on isrieri. read pages 7 and 8. numerous people have said 'yeah he doesnt make sense' but i am the only one voting him..for some reason..

Cave, the only reason I haven't voted Isrieri is because I'm ignoring him. He likes something about me for some reason, so I decided that until he wanted to elaborate, I'd just pretend he didn't even exist. This is largely because of what happened when I specifically addressed vaguely directed comments in the last game. I have, of course, decided to change my playstyle because of all the trouble I ran into. That doesn't mean I won't continue to be an aggressive player. I'll simply choose my comments more wisely. Well, enough of my useless exposition.

It's interesting who he chooses to single out, especially SuNa, who hasn't changed his playstyle a bit, and Muriel, who is a newbie. Why are they interesting to Isrieri? Unless he's picking names at random. And since he picks them out for their silence, why doesn't he single out MajoracanKing, whose very first in game post was on this page (unless I hit a page break, then it was on the previous page)?
His position is interesting anyway. He wants to lynch Sooz because he thinks it will get him answers. There's one thing very wrong with his theory: this is day one and nobody is under suspicion yet so the odds of a plurality lynch is very low and as such, nobody has any reason to feel threatened by his posturing.
I call bullshit. I think he's saber-rattling and he just doesn't have a saber to rattle. This is curious behavior under the best of circumstances, so let's just see what he does. If nothing better comes along, I'll vote to lynch Isrieri, until then, I'll wait to see what happens.
