This game I plan to post as much as I can, but I can't post if I'm say, hours away at a mall or relatives.

To whom it may concern (i.e. everyone):
1: Majority lynches are in effect. If no simple majority is reached before the end of any day phase, a nolynch will occur.
2: Just like in Liberty's last game, only one item may be used by any player each night.
3: With Christmas coming up soon and activity being low, I'll probably make night 1 last until december 27th. This is a long night phase, but will hopefully allow for more activity day 2.

This is actually extremely obnoxious, day 1 has already lasted way, way longer than it needs to. It's almost impossible for anything meaningful to happen until day 2 and there's no point in prolonging the most pointless segment of the game. Frankly, other than the segment that happens on Christmas Day, there's no point in any day+night segment lasting more than 24 hours. I would expect the game to be done by the 27th, not just starting the first real day.
Why did you start it if you weren't ready? Do you want to just cancel it and start over in a week? Either do that, or find someone else to moderate it if you don't have time. This is stupid. I want to play, not sit here jacking off.

Unless more kills are blocked by powers than caused by powers (extremely unlikely, unless the cop dies on night 1), the longest a game can last is half as many days as there are players. We have 14 players, so I would not expect the game to last more than 7 days.

Truthfully, nobody looks lynchable at the moment, so since we still have a little bit of time, I'm going to wait and see what everyone does.

If so, seems like all the more reason to put strict time limits in place this time around. It doesn't have to be exactly 24 hours per day, but I certainly wouldn't expect it to be more than 48 hours.

I think the moderators enjoy watching us go insane as we descend into paranoia and accuse each other of every little thing we can find in their posts, so they try to drag it out as long as they can.

I'd actually have no problem at all with continuing the game during the christmas period. Player activity has just been low these past days, presumably because of the holiday season, making me think the game would be more fast-paced after the 27th if we put in on hold for a while. But if activity goes up I'll just continue as originally planned.

Arguments between people in different time zones can certainly occur over the course of multiple day phases. And there's no particular reason for the night phase to last more than an hour, as long as we all know ahead of time when it will be. In this glorious age of internet and smartphones, people can post messages from anywhere in the world at any time of day!

FWIW, though, I think the lack of activity so far's pretty understandable - the game only started, what, this Friday? And naturally a lot of us are busy during the weekends. Also, barely anyone ever posts on Sundays.
I think this game's gonna take off proper tomorrow. In the mean time let's all, idk, mak gam or something.
