Since I'm already added some of my maps here already I might as well get some opinions on this one.
It always tickles me seeing people use the RTP for a serious project. One thing that I would recommend is to add a little variation to the western side of the screen's ceiling walls. Make them go in at a sharp point and curve back out using the square corner tiles along with the diagonal cliff tiles to give it a natural roughness and unevenness.
@masterofmayhem: It may be the lack of context and a minor thing, but I think I see a wooden stool and table in the midst of all that lava? Convection is totally a thing, despite what some RPGs will tell you...maybe have them both be a dark stone so it looks like obsidian, or at least something that won't combust randomly in a lava cave? (Also, screw you spellcheck, combust is a word)
Thanks guys. I'll add some rocks and such the the map, but I don't really think I need that meany.
Oh, the furniture are placeholders for possible treasure chests that I haven't added yet. Just pretend there not there.

Now you will now why I hate Khas' Lighting script. I just do my own lighting ^^.

May tone this one down a bit though.
And a fairly large map based off the last map of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.

Yes, my first ever Map Shot.

I remember that mission from Fire Emblem. I'd make it smaller, though. It's (much) bigger than it needs to be in my opinion. The top of the walls in the bottom of the map should cover more of the path - make sure the player can walk behind it.
skjo i appreciate that you've done something original with the tidepool theme to your rudras edits. the grass reaching out beyond the edge of the cliff tile is a nice touch, too.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Luchino, I remember that map. Good j---
holy shit did you just use the VX Ace hedge tiles without them looking like shit? I didn't think that was possible

It's so great seeing someone else using Ancient Dungeon! I've been using it for a month now and it's nice to see what else people have done with it! The water temple looks great!
I think the size of the house is good, but the cabinets over the bench look a little off to me, since I think what you're using for cabinets are supposed to be end tables. But maybe it works and I'm just thinking very literally?
I think the Fire Emblem castle looks really nice and I like big maps. But it may feel a little empty if there aren't NPCs in it. Are you planning on sprinkling NPCs around?
I also tried using Khas' lighting effects, but it was too ... I dunno it caused a bunch of bugs and didn't look good, I just yeah, made my own.
I was gonna get a video ready, but that's proving to be a pain in the butt, so for now here's a screenshot.

The red section needs more edge. It looks like it is floating around the point that the side cuts off.
author=bulmabriefs144It's not the legit floor. It's a visual warning.

Recording finished, video uploaded, enjoy that multi-phase bossfight.
Oh god yeah I'm gonna replace that scream near the end, that's Nola's scream not... yeah.

You should really try to make it possible to turn on the spot, BM. Not being able to do that heavily restricts player control in an action game.

Ah ok.

Love her laugh. You should never kill her off btw. Have her join the party to help kill a worse villain (for fun, not because she's become heroic) or something. Esperia's way too cool a character to just have someone knock her off.

I like the look of your falling rocks, BM. Gives me some good inspiration for a similar section I have in my game.
anyone have any ideas for stuff or clever NPCs for the Bug City.
I'm thinking some silkworm old ladies spinning threads in the market, and some little roach kids running about.
I was about to suggest the exact same thing lol
Anyway, that is one flipping awesome map.
