SCREENSHOT SURVIVAL 20XX

I think having colors like blue and orange that greatly contradict frog's color is a good idea because it makes elements of the game very clear.
author=blueperiodI genuinely love this. Text being shown when you hover your mouse above choices to elaborate on decisions you make in any game is a small thing that I really wish would be used in more games.
A choice selection UI I'm working on for my text-based RPG.
I like the way your water has depth and isn't two inches deep. :D
I'd recommend a slight tint though, maybe -17-17-17, 17 to give it a mild grey glum rainy look. That will not only add to the atmosphere but give the rain a little more visibility, right now its practically invisible on the light grey tiles.

I love the way you work with water, Ram. Definetly an amazing map <3
But I've never been a fan of those rtp boxes being put next to each other vertically....

Reminds me of the colored floor puzzle from undertale XD
Where's the end of it though?

This is actually a fully playable maze.
I regret nothing.
This is actually kinda cool!

Far away. Really far.
First I made a normal maze with one wall tile type and one floor tile type. Then I made two 6x6 squares (RM 2k3 max brush size) and filled one with 36 different walkable tiles, and the other with 36 different walkable tiles. And then I just selected and floodfilled to create this nightmare.

The zoomed-in screenshot above shows the player standing on the left side of that large square area near the bottom right corner.
This is a relatively simple maze when it looks normal, but I figured that anything more complex combined the location's unique aesthetics would be too much.
Maybe I should make a game like that, something simple enough to actually complete? RTP resources and an assortment of bizarre challenges, and that's it.

Got it all early since I preordered from Degica.
I pre ordered it too but I can't install it or anything 0.0 How did you do that BM?

Just as I get to like working with Ace, the world turns upside down and MV is out. (Screens from a standardish RPG project I was working on. The flags change color depending on which faction controls any given town. I'll probably import the project and start working on MV instead.)

If you ordered on the site you got an email with the download early - I like to look at it as a small thank you from Enterbrain for 100% supporting their products and not forcing them to split part of the profit with steam. ^.^
Here, have some stuff I did while acting as a tester for MV.

Yes, the lighting is just an image. Some people was another screen like this that was used for promo purposes and thought it was an in-built lighting engine. Norp!

Custom skills are as easy to set up as they are in Ace.

Some of the icons. I like the look, personally, just wish there'd been more variety of them made.

I mak map.

Lot of map.

I might actually run with this game idea eventually. Maybe. orz
Oh I gotta check my mail? Thanks a lot for telling Libby!
*Edit*
Damn I pre ordered on steam so I didn't get mail. Well gotta wait a few more hours I guess.....
