Hm... With character permadeath and no restarting of maps, I feel like next time there should be some sort of hint given to all players about how to recruit someone. Just a single sentence that IIan's character could have recruited me would have drastically changed the blue team's tactics. After all, that's usually in the games.
I'm thinking ahead here and I can't imagine it being very fair if their promoted level 8 character got killed off because they didn't do a specific thing/ talked to a specific character that wasn't even remotely hinted at before.
Just a thought. Pay me no mind...

Which is your favorite?
Good question, and one that I've been struggling with for years. My favorite part of any FE game is the support conversations the characters have, so I'd probably go with Awakening for that alone.
But for the overall experience... my favorite is either Awakening or Blazing Sword. Path of Radiance would be a close runner up.

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

What I did was make you ask if the person talking to you knew Ezra if anyone but Ezra talked to you. I thought that would be a sufficient hint, although it would only be triggered by a wrong person talking to you.
Evidently, that did not work out, as blue team was killed the turn they talked to you.
I guess next time I'll drop a hint before the first talking happens. :/

Cool! I'm really enjoying Awakening!
I'll go ahead and sign up a new character, in a more supportive role.
Please add Lilian the Cleric to the roster ^_^

I guess if I had attacked earlier like any red unit would normally have done, the hint would have been delivered in time for them to rearrange their tactics.
But silly me, I wanted to preserve my character. Some red unit I turned out to be...

Blazing Sword 039 - An Unexpected Caller
E6:
"Kalas! We've got company!"
"We always knew we could not outrun them forever. They have horses, after all."
"So is this where we make our stand, then?"
"It appears so. We could not have asked for a better terrain. The only way across this river is the bridge."
"You may have joined the Mendacian army, but I have not been neglecting my sword training! I bet I can take out more soldiers than you can!"
"You will have bragging rights when we leave here with our lives."
"How many do you reckon are following us?"
"My entire garrison at the very least. Perchance more."
"So we will have to find a way to escape then?"
"There should be a port to the North-East of here. If we steal a ship, they should not be able to give chase."
---------------------------------
J16:
"This is the end of the line. There is nowhere for them to run here."
"How long until the others arrive, sir?"
"The reinforcements should be here in approximately an hour. (4 turns) I will claim the traitor's head myself, before they are here. That should get me my promotion."
--------------------------------
S13:
"You thought you could get away with stealing my hard-earned gold, ey? You know the reason why I have so much of it? I get paid for exterminating scum rabble like you two! I will have your corpses hanging from the gallows!"
"Garret... Now would be the time to come up with one of your ingenious plans..."
"Let me think! I've got nothing... We... could really use some help right now..."
"Whose help? The citizens of this town have no love for us, and I will not accept the help of a soldier!"

Turn 1 starts now! It is now player phase.
Terrain:
-Forest: +20% Avoid. +1 Def. Moving out of a forest tile is the equivalent of moving three tiles for cavalry units, and two tiles for all other non-flying units.
-Hill: +30% Avoid. +1 Def. Cannot be crossed by cavalry and armor units. Moving out of a hill tile is the equivalent of moving four tiles.
-Fort S4: +10% Avoid. +1 Defense. Recover 10% HP each turn.
-Shop K10: +10% Avoid.
-Town C13,S13: +10% Avoid.
Use these terrain bonuses to your advantage. It can really make a difference.
Goal: Have any blue unit seize S3.
Green units can post their actions along with the blue units, but those actions will be executed in Other phase, between Player and Enemy phase.

It's interesting that the cavalier has the same move range as the foot soldiers. Assuming that's not a mistake, though, we can use that to our advantage:
The green units should be fine against a single soldier. The thief can hit twice in one turn thanks to the speed bonus. The bard can give another turn to the thief, enabling him to strike FOUR times against the soldier. It'll be tough, but they'll survive.
While our primary objective, IIan, is to group up with the green units, we have a couple of things to do before that.
I'll block the enemies in the south while you secure the town. I won't be able to kill anyone easily (or at all), but that's not our goal. I have a vulnerary, so I'll be fine to tank the hits, but you need to move fast.
We can decide how (or even IF) to deal with the enemies to the south after we see what the town can give us.
When the bandit comes within range, and if we can spare the time and resources, I'll leave him to you. You can deal with the bandit easily. You're fast enough to hit the bandit twice in one turn, plus you have the weapon triangle bonus against it.
How does that sound?

EDIT: Oh, I was ninja'ed by Red Nova. Ok, Let me see the map for a moment!
Well, that sounds like a better idea than mine, so I'm in! But just so you know, if we proceed as you say and if my calculations are correct, in three turns the bandit may be able to reach you one turn before I reach him. Just so you know.

I don't plan on going on the offensive. I'll wear them down with counterattacks and heal as needed.
The 7 movement range of the cavalier will be troublesome, though...

Jeselle, we are in some serious shit.
Okay, I've got a plan - Stick to the trees. And stay out of sight. We'll lay low till the heat dies down.

Also, there's no stealth in FE games*. That soldier sees both of you. Though sticking to a forest tile is still the best option.
* Unless you count that one mission in Path of Radiance where you had to stay out of the enemy's movement range which doubled as their line of sight. But even then, you're both still in the soldiers movement range.
JosephSeraph and Isrieri, we're still waiting for yoouuuuu...

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I don't actually see a list of who's playing anywhere in the post. Who's playing this time?
