PHOENIX MAFIA: ONLINE TURNABOUT

Ok, so here's the thing.

I don't feel like Dudesoft is scum, because Dudesoft's activity this game reminds me of the last time we played Phoenix Wright mafia, and guess what? He was Gumshoe. However he is very busy.

Right now...we could potentially take out three players, if we wanted to. Via objection vote, conviction, and the vigilante ability. As I said, there are four people remaining on the suspicious list provided CAVE's call for a modkill is genuine...and given he hasn't posted since, I think it is.

Four people. 1/2 of those have to be scum.

Right, so what I think we should do is find two decent candidates. The one that's more suspicious, we'll lynch today, the other who's less suspicious but still suspicious, I'll shoot, that way if I get killed or role-blocked before I can shoot the more suspicious person will still be dead. If there's only one really suspicious person, I'll shoot a lurker or trust my own judgement. Er, perhaps it's best if I don't explicitly reveal who I'm planning on shooting either way, though. Hm, how should we go about this...?

In fact...we have a 1/4 chance of hitting scum. If we act now, on day two, when the mafia has yet to convert anyone...well.

Hm, his few posts haven't been terribly scummy, but his posts ARE few, and he hasn't offered much info in said posts either, if I recall...
tomorrow I'll likely vote to lynch him, after I've read everything through. I'm trying to keep the exact nature of my knowledge a secret, at least for now. So long as the people I know for certain are town are live, we can pick off those who are scum.

Jokes aside, what exact leads do you have to go on me other than a lack of post count? A common sparrow doesn't talk at all, either, but does that mean it's suspicious? For being a sparrow?

Where I'm getting at here is that a person who doesn't talk much is just as likely to be guilty as someone who does. For all you know, I'm taking this game about as seriously as Maj is. Being just a measly citizen with no exciting killer role, would you?

Besides, if there is anyone you should REALLY be suspicious of due to inactivity, I'd be the person who has posted less than I have, which is Dudesoft.

I think you should eat it. I have reasons;

1.(this is somewhat selfish) I think we have enough mysteries in this game, and this one seems simple to solve.
2. The only thing I can think of(going off of the OP) is that if it is scum, maybe it is a conversion cookie? I mean in real life someone has to make a conscious choice to turn their back on people and join a new game, it could work that way in the game. However, a problem with this theory is I figure you would know if it would convert you or not if that was its purpose.
3. I looked through the Op in the citizen area and this is a stretch, just like reason 2, but maybe it is part of the programmer? Maybe it is the boost? Once again you would probably know if it did that.
3. This isn't a reason, just an idea. If you don't want to eat it, maybe you should wait until the night phase and see if you can gift it to someone else and maybe they'll take the chance and eat it.

Honestly though, I don't think I'm playing all that differently than I usually do. Albeit I think I'm posting more, or at least trying! The bottom of the line is I have next to no info about anything, I haven't developed a radar yet, my night action was utterly useless, so all I have to go off of is what is said in the chat, and it tends to follow what someone else has said because I agree or was typing to slowly and got "Ninja'd". I could see where it would seem I am playing it safe, but you just read what I'm working with and what my whole game experience has pretty much been so far.

Ratty, that last post is scummy as hell, not helping your case at all.

In case you haven't been paying attention, you're a 1-in-4 stab in the dark. After tonight's night phase, there's no way to tell who may have been converted to mafia, but right now I have four people I am 100% not sure of...so long as MajoracanKing is actually an idiot.



Dudesoft is also fair game, however, his inactivity strikes me as town. One, he clarified very early that he is extremely busy. Two-- he said he has flavour, but not really a role.

A statement like that early into the game could very well have been a lie, it is true, but it given it wasn't really in response to anything and was on the first day, there were few reasons to lie.

Three, this amount of inactivity is not uncommon for Dudesoft-- as I stated earlier, I played with him in the first Phoenix Wright mafia, sacrificing myself in order to revive him, and he barely acted after that.
