Is there REALLY a marijuana party?
What is their stance on foreign policy :(
I like Canada having fringe parties like the Marijuana party. People (apparently) would be surprised what kind of people run for them. It's not the stoner stereotype.
America has fringe parties though too. I guess the difference is we have 4 main parties and they usually have 2.

Palin actually did decently in the first half in my opinion, but the second half she broke down. Overall I'd still give it to Biden.
If anyone was watching CNN's version with the audience reaction bars though - Did it seem to anyone else that the audiences reacted extremely positively to generic pre-rehearsed type of material and much less to parts with actual content? I suppose that it may also be because they didn't agree with the content, but there seemed to be a hollowness to the audience reactions.

Which Buchanan? Pat or Bay?
Pat. He was practically masturbating to Palin afterwards.
First off, why the hell would anyone choose to watch MSNBC?
That said, Buchanan was pretty much in tears after Obama's acceptance speech.

As opposed to what other station?
I find CNN unbearable.
Edit: Also, I wasn't criticizing him just because he is a Pubbie, but that I can't fathom how one could think she handily won the debate.

I find MSNBC unbearable for the same reason I find Fox News unbearable -- they're long on color commentary and short on actual analysis. Plus, CNN has a kickass map. I'd watch it on C-SPAN otherwise.
Fox News poll showed 86% of their viewers thought Palin won the debate. Compare this to this rest of the networks and independent polling and it really reveals how much of a vacuum Fox News thrives in. They're like that long, lost tribe in South America that has no clue about the outside world.

Oh, I totally agree on the commentary bit. It's not like I don't have to read between the lines. At least they don't actually bothering hiding their hosts individual bias(except maybe Chris Matthews, though I can't watch his show a lot cause of the complete tools that come on it - and David Gregory, I guess, who is a total straight man) unlike Fox. =P
I just immediately yawn anytime Wolf Blitzer opens his mouth.
I only hope they don't have people like Glenn Beck and Nancy Grace doing the political coverage. yikes.
As for FOX, they are entertaining to watch (in a sort of Santa Claus meets the Martians sorta way), but I don't like giving them the ratings. -_-
I started a McCain supporter, but after McCain fucked over wallstreet with his 'economy is fine' and 'no bailout', I just couldn't forgive all the stupid and switched over to the Obama camp. After watching the VP debate, my decision to vote Obama/Biden now firmly stands.

Ever see the episode of Family Guy where Lois ran for mayor against Adam West?
She began her debate attempting to address real issues and speak competently, but was losing badly to Mayor West's soundbyte-style rhetoric.
Then Brian advised her on the nature of undecided voters, and she proceeded to just spout off "NINE ELEVEN" repeatedly, getting more and more elated cheers each time.
...sounds familiar.
