Ok, sorry, let me make myself clear, I, Me, Personally don't think race as an issue, I didn't like Obama for my own reason, not that he's black. What I meant was, It is very racist, true Obama won, but it doesn't mean everyone voted for him, I'm saying a fraction of the U.S. is still very racist and isn't ready for a black president. This isn't how I, Me, Myself, feel, I think Obama will do fine. Please don't mistake what I say, also I apologize for not being as clear as I could earlier.

Don't worry guys, I'm not complaining anymore. I'll watch and see how Obama does, and if I feel like he's actually doing a good job, I'll admit that I was wrong in wanting McCain in office. Maybe Obama will do a good job, which of course I hope so, but eh, that remains to be seen.

That's the thing - Obama won white voters by a margin comparable to a Clinton victory.
Sure, there are racists, but some people also hated Kennedy because he was Catholic.
Also, what do you not like Obama for? You still haven't answered that.

It's scary how pro-Obama people seem to be. It seems there's a lack of respect of anyone who thinks otherwise. That's a little scary.

The problem isn't the issue of liking him or not.
The problem is that most of the reasons people have for disliking him are blatantly false.
This is what happens when your opponents basically call you a foreign, Muslim terrorist that is going to raise your taxes or whatever. That was the fundamental problem with McCain's campaign - trying to make non-issue issues because he couldn't handle something real and legitimate(like the economy). So now people are going around believing this garbage instead of disagreeing with Obama on real, substantive issues.
This will probably change soon enough since he is president, but till then...

Hell, all that's been asked of them is to explain what plans exactly they supported that McCain allegedly had.
None of em' has answered, so it seems their hatred for Obama is irrational. So far race has been the only common denominator in their arguments, so it's easy to see why they're not lended much credence.

Also, what do you not like Obama for? You still haven't answered that.
First off let me say and I don't know much about either canidate, which is why i think either will do fine. The only main reason is that I've heard from mulitple sources, that Obama wants to try Socialism, or has Socialistic idea, which I don't think is right.

Most likly, just a bunch of seniors at my school, but i figured since i heard it from people who were voting for both parties, it wasn't just some wrong info. Oh well, Not a super big deal anyways.
