Most RTP Game AwardMy pick: Starship TsukuruNova 20003.
Starship TsukuruNova 20003 gets this one for me, mostly because of its strict usage of the 2k3 RTP to create a game in space. Props for creating a wooden ship to fly galaxy-wide. Sellsword also looks good.
Worthy mentions: Sellsword.
Have I not released anything new in 2015? Wow.
author=nhubiauthor=CashmereCatIt wasn't modified, it was expanded, one of the three available seasons were added this year, it's actually had more than half of it completed in 2015 (tweaking and polishing Summer, all of Autumn and part of Winter as well as the new look due to successful KS campaign) and should be eligible for best demo because of it.author=eplipswichYeah, the download for World's Dawn was added in 2014 but modified in 2015, and the system only detects downloads that were added in the year that the Misaos takes place.
I don't know about this year...The only game that actually stands out for me is World's Dawn (as a demo, of course), though this game is not eligible for nomination...
Yeah but the reason the system doesn't detect World's Dawn as able to be nominated, is because the creator modified the original DL link instead of adding a new one, and since the system only detects games with a download added this year, World's Dawn doesn't qualify, even though it should. If the creator adds the download as a separate and new link, it would qualify.
I'm actually playing a bunch of games that I've had on my 'Play this year' list now. So far I did GUILT and Second Death. Both were pretty decent. GUILT actually looks pretty good but I'm not very good at platformers as it is, and this one requires a bit of hiding/running... it's still pretty neat though! I'll be playing more later. Maybe I'll dig up a GOTY! XP
@Sated You can set downloads to be for testers only, but I guess not everyone knows that. Not sure what you mean by it being broken, though. As far as I know, that was how it was designed. If you're talking about the Misaos being broken because they don't recognize modified downloads, I'd imagine that can be changed rather easily.
The fact that I neither remembered to nominate some games until now nor know which ones I should nominate in the first place makes me realise I have played way fewer games this year than I would have liked to. Kind of sad, actually.
The one suggestion I do want to add, perhaps for categories like Setting, Atmosphere and RTP, is Heresies of Discord. That game stayed in my memory as a particularly good game that mainly relied on default assets while being far from an "average"-style RPG Maker game.

Setting a download for testers only solves the second problem (that people don't want out-dated versions on their game-page), it doesn't solve the first problem (that people want the download button to show how many downloads a previous version garnered).
Actually, you're right. That is kind of strange. Although theoretically you could just add a doppelganger "testers only" download to help you qualify for the Misaos and modify your current download in turn. Cue "Hannah Montana - Best of Both Worlds". That's a pretty rude way of getting around restrictions, though.

author=Libertyauthor=Cap_HIt really was.
Ruin Frontier was actually more enjoyable than O and its 015 too.
Added Heresies of Discord and RUIN FRONTIER to the "Notable Entries" list.
author=CashmereCatauthor=Ratty524Oh, the final honourable mentions aren't for non-RPGs. My bad. They're for potential Game of the Years. Maybe that makes you even more uneasy but I enjoyed the game a lot, even if you don't believe it's not indicative of your talent. It's a solid RPG with brisk pacing and a wry sense of humour.
Cash, I think you like Sellsword way too much (it's also not really a Non-RPG?).
I also really enjoyed Sellsword! The combat was fun, the mapping was nice, and the story made me smile ^_^
Wow, I'm proud seeing both of my games in the notable entries post <3
I totally have to play more of the listed titles. Some of them are looking really promising. :3
From the list I only played Listen, which is great little story based game.
And Resonate, which I also enjoyed.

Why is Grappi the most visible game pic in the front page image how does that make any sense?
not that I would mind a nomination but all those other games there are probably more worthy of display on account of not being explicitly weird and creepy for its own sake

Oh yeah. This.
I figure the majority of my picks would probably come from the McBacon Jams, maybe the Golden Age of 2K. Though, Luxaren Allure for Game of the Year...

Grappi's the new mascot for the Misaos! :3 :P
Pointless but entertaining for a few minutes? Sure, works for me! :V
Red_Nova
Sir Redd of Novus: He who made Prayer of the Faithless that one time, and that was pretty dang rad! :D

I would have put more games from the 2015 IGMC on here if they were actually on RMN. Corrine Cross' Dead and Breakfast won the friggin contest and deserves some awards. Oh well.
This is probably gonna be updated since I've got a couple more games planned to play. Friggin final exams.
