That aside, I wonder why nobody really followed this event?Most of the games appeared to be of a genres that I don't normally like (esp. visual novels), orlevel editors"engines" that I don't normally like (Zelda Classic and SMBX), so that would be my reasoning. Not that I speak for any one but myself, and I guess I did give the event enough passing interest that I semi-blindly voted, so that probably doesn't answer the question.
Only five of the twelve eligible games fit in that category you mentioned. Super Pantito, in particular, was made from scratch in game maker.
Also, I firmly believe that a game should be fun to play and/or experience, and what engine you use to accomplish that doesn't matter in the long run, but to each's own.

Unfortunately i couldn't run all games, the 3D one piano made crashed on start and i didn't know how to play the mario-based ones. I enjoyed the visual novels (i also liked cafe closedown a bit better) and cheetahmen was entertaining in a sort of zen way because i was incredibly drunk when i played it and it was sort of soothing. For some reason.
Good job to everyone who participated. and boo to the ones that voted without playing :P
I've got a different download up. The first one I put up was a developer copy so if you don't have a copy of UE4, it won't work. I left it up so that I didn't break the event link so if you're still interested in playing, click the download box in the upper right corner and then click the download and see if that works.

You probably don't have SMBX to play them with, then. You can get the download HERE.
Unless the project already includes the game file, you'll need to put the game folder into the "worlds" folder that comes with the program. Then, launch SMBX to play them.

Congratulations to all participants! Unfortunately, I didn't vote because I lacked the time to play all games. Among the ones I played, Super Pantito was my favorite.
