"My name is Jowee. What are you reading, Isaac? I didn't used to be into reading books, but then I heard my teacher say she wasn't expecting me to read anyway because I wasn't the "reading" type of kid.
Needless to say, I started to get into reading. You know, it's kind of like I'm rebelling against rebellion! Pffft..."
I stifle my giggle for no apparent reason, then let go into a laugh that seems much smaller and more appropriate for my story than the one I appeared to be holding back.

Isaac looks at his new acquaintances, shuddering at Jowie's so called joke. Past Jowie's head he watches as this little child peeks in from outside. It's ears were pointed an is clad in green. Isaac is about to shout for help when the kid phases through the window.
It strolls across the table it lands on and sits at the edge, watching the children play. A ball is thrown from somewhere and hits the child in the head. It looks at the ball rolling away on the floor. It lifts its fingers and with a snap the ball pops. The kid who threw the ball starts to cry, but the whining just mixes in with the other noises in the car.
Lily follows Isaac's gaze to see a child sitting on the edge of a table with a sly smile plastered on his, no her... well Lily isn't sure what the kid's gender is. Jowie is too busy smiling at his crude joke to notice and sam just watches his lighter flick open... and close repeatedly.

My eye twitches a bit at the sound of the lighter flicking and I whine, "Will you quit it? Once or twice was fine, but you don't need to keep doing it." I think that maybe that was a bit harsh, but it was getting on my nerves.
I chuckle a little more at my joke and then peer at Isaac's book idly and twitch a little more everytime Sam flicks the lighter. Internally, I'm curious why a lighter was let in here, but hold my tongue. For now. Hopefully he stops soon...

I look at jowie then put the lighter away as he asked "sorry..." i look around the car at all the other kids just thinking how much of a drag it is to be here.
"Oh, I wasn't trying to be mean...! Ha ha..." I give a look of disdain to the floor as if it should react to me feeling awkward, but alas it reacts like a normal floor. Which is to say not at all.
At this point, I finally become aware of who Isaac and Lily are looking at. Seeing the kid I ask, "Do you guys know that kid or...? They sure seem happy to be here."

Did you just see that? They flew through the window and made a ball disappear with magic! I've never seen anything like it before!
I clean my glasses, hoping for the kid to be a figment of my imagination, but it persists.

"Oh yeah, did you see all of the unicorns and leprechauns that followed him in here too? It must be a magical-being parade!" I snort a bit, then continue, "But seriously, do you know him? Is he, like, into magic tricks or something?"
