"Okeydokies, let's go then! I'll sit on the cart though, it's so much more fun! If everyone is fine with it, welcome Leara!"

(oops, I forgot)
Chloe gets back on the cart

Don't forget your rolls, guys! It's not essential in this bit, but better get used to doing so. For example, ratty, when you said to "Move quietly", roll a d20 for your stealth!

By the by, there's something called "passive perception" which is the # you get when you're not actively looking for something. That roll is always 10+your perception.

The little elf child gives chase with newfound vigor! After a few minutes, she walks out of the jungle onto a path near a plain. She sees her steak running out into the field, and a four-armed reptilian creature running outside of it's charge.
Another elf sneaks up, and spies the buffalo within bowshot. It appears to be in a fear frenzy, so her options are to try and shoot it now or wait for however long it takes for it to calm down before being able to catch it again.

The caravan leader regards the drow with suspicious caution. The Healer girl, Chloe he thinks her name was, comes up and greets her. The insane man that started following them, but gave no real harm, was also talking to the Drow.
He was confident this was no ambush; there was no where to hide in these fields that his men would not spot. The drow also appeared to be run down, and out in sunlight with no visible physical ailments. She must have been on the surface for some time. He decided that the simplest answer was the correct one; she was a person in need, and he would afford her the trust he gave to the man now talking to her. He'd probably drop them both of in the next town.
Either way, the man spoke
"Alright then, what's your name, drow?"
He turns to Chloe and Aldus
"Thank you for welcoming her and all, but I'd rather you two get back in line."
The man looks back to the drow, a tinge of weary and wariness.

"Oh, you're a bard, and a Drow, even? Fascinating! Do you happen to have written any songs in the Drow native tongue? I once read that many songs in that language contain hidden powerful incantations when sung backwards."
I nod towards the friendly man and the pink-haired girl, and move back in line together with Leara. However, as soon as the caravan begins moving again, I won't be staying in line any more.

"A bard drow..."
The leader shakes his head in wonderment.
"Well, I've seen some exotic cultures, but this is a first! Very well, I think you can come along."
The leader turns back to the caravan who are staring at him, in slight apprehension.
"Come now, if you can resist the allure of tundarin I'm sure you can handle a drow. Now, let's get back to it, we need to hit Alondour within three days, or we'll be late to the carnival!"
With that, the caravan manages to resume moving, albeit at a slower pace. The caravan leader does not stand this pace, however, and order them to pick it up.
"Say, Leara, care to give us a little marching song? A classic ought to ease them back into the pace."

Fall into line and begin playing lute.

"Heading down south on the dusty road
Thumbing my way into the southern woods
Staring up the road
Pray to the gods that I see headlamps.

"I made it down the coast in seventeen hours
Pickin' me a bouquet of dogwood flowers
And I'm hoping for my dear home
I can see my baby tonight.

"So rock me mama like a wagon wheel
Rock me mama anyway you feel
Hey mama rock me
Rock me mama like the wind and the rain
Rock me mama like a south-bound train
Hey mama rock me

"Runnin' from the cold up in the north
I was born to be a fiddler in an old-time string band
My baby plays the rebec
I pick an archlute now

"Oh, the North country winters keep a gettin' me now
Lost my money playin' cards so I had to up and leave
But I ain't a turnin' back
To livin' that old life no more

"So rock me mama like a wagon wheel
Rock me mama anyway you feel
Hey mama rock me
Rock me mama like the wind and the rain
Rock me mama like a south-bound train
Hey mama rock me"

(The Wagon Wheel, lyrics altered for setting)

"Yeah, a song would be great!"(ninjad)

"Woooo! That was great Leara, you're a really great bard!" Claps
I rummage through the cart, looking for something to eat. (incase perception is needed, I rolled a 7)

I'll wait for the beast to calm down. It wouldn't be worth it to waste an arrow on a bad shot.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I try to get close enough and attack Steak Dinner with Choke Hold.
I roll a 4 for Choke-Hold.
I roll a 2 for the athletics check that I assume I need to make to catch up with Steak Dinner.

(I vote that Leara should gain a little bit of EXP every time pianotm writes a song for her to play. That kind of creativity is worth a bonus.)

Ah, beautiful music. A few seconds after Leara has begun playing, I start whistling along, completely missing the tune and rhythm. Once the song is over, I clap as well. "That was very agreeable indeed, Leara. Thank you. Here, may I share this with you?"
I pull out two of my daily random items from my Bag of Holding.

(Cool! I do try to write my own songs, but I must admit, in the case of The Wagon Wheel, I chose an old folk tune to alter for the setting. There's a couple more verses to it, and I had to change references to North Carolin-y and guitars. I had wondered about leaving the south-bound train in, but trains have been a thing for a much longer time than the US has existed, so I figured it'd be okay.)

I'm surprised. It's not like nobody's ever been nice to me, but this generosity (I have no idea it's a bag of holding) is definitely not something I'm accustomed to. "I...if you're sure. Thank you."

Anyways, Ratty, you would have noticed that the same herd animal is the buffalo Agnelia is chasing. You noticed her, too.

Frogge, a buffalo is charging you, but you dodged out of the way. Now there's a white-haired elf child chasing it.
