HIGHLANDER'S REALM ("D&D" FORUM RPG)
Posts
I'm starting to get the sneaking suspicion that we're not going to win this fight... Out of character, we're probably not even supposed to.
Anyway, I'm currently not dying, so I don't think I actually need to roll a death save. But being asleep and exhausted, I'm not likely to do anything useful for a while, either. We'll see what happens after the Gnolls have captured me.

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Wow, this is not going well. You guys are getting hosed!
As a minor action I would like to do a nature check to perform a buffalo mating call and summon Steak Dinner back into the fray. It's something like six on one at this point so some mayhem can only help my situation. Holy shit I rolled a natural 20 on this!
Meanwhile I would also like to use Sacrificed Power to push back the gnoll with the spear. In the midst of the fighting, it doesn't even occur to me that I have no idea what this power is or why I can do it. I'll probably stress out about it later. I roll a 5 + 1 = 6 for my damage roll, and a 10 + 1 = 11 for my healing roll.

Seiromem
Deaths saves from all but Enna and Agnelia.
---Cooldowns/Active Effects---
Frogge: 1 Save
Piano: 1 Fail
Oh, I get another?

As far as I know, in 5th edition D&D you keep making death saves until you either have accumulated three successes (you survive) three fails (you die), or an outside force interferes and either rescues or kills you.
(I think we maaaaaaaaay die ;w;)
I roll a natural 1 for a death saving roll... That was terrible x.x
Uh oh, if saving roll bonusses count, since I have -1, that's a ZERO!! Wow, that's beyond terrible >.>

This might just become the shortest campaign in history.
Oh, by the way, maybe I have missed it, but what happened to my summon? Is it still around doing its work? I assume it can still act even when I'm out, correct?

Hey, guys, I just want you to know, it wasn't me this time for once. I didn't summon that quasi-real dog-like creature, honest!

Wanna Play?
I figured out why it was so hard to manage 8 players before; I tried to edit a post on the first page with all relevant info instead of just having it at the end of the turn posts. That way I don't forget anything! Hurrah!

How did you know what was happening?
#lynch CAVE_DOG_IS_BACK
Thick foliage, tall trees.
Anything else that might be there requires a perception check.

sure
I guess I will make a guy using the rules in the OP and then Pm you and then send a second PM threatening vague spiritual harm if my guy does not enter the story upon the back of a 8234-winged dragon with gunblades in both hands
I'm going to look ahead towards the edge of the jungle to make sure I'm not running into even more danger.
Perception roll = 3
((I am just not lucky with this, damn))

LockeZ, that would go under Animal Handling rather than Nature. So you also get a +5 on top of the 20!
Also you're actually a distance away from Enna, so it's only 2 to one. You CAN see the fight at the caravan and Enna being chased away, however.
-----Turn 6-----
Agnelia glows as her shield erupts with grey energy, blasting the Spear-Wielding Gnoll 10 feet away. As this happens, she emits a high-pitched squeal that eerily sounds like a female buffalo. Both the sound and situation perplexes the Club-Wielding Gnoll, who stalls in confusion. The Spear wielding Gnoll gets up, coughs up blood, and charges the girl once more, fear in it's eyes. It botches the charge up so horribly it's spear flies out of it's hands as it slams into the grey shield.
If Agnelia were to glance towards the caravan in the distance, she would see another volley of arrows skewering humans as the line on the right breaks under the Gnolls' assault. The other elf disappearing towards the jungle.
Enna breathes heavily as she rushes towards the jungle. She can hear the cackling laughter of the Gnolls behind her, and she rushes past the foliage, not paying attention to where she is going. She slows down for a few precious seconds as the sound of leaves being brushed aside is heard behind her. To her left looks like easy ground, while the right is thick with large ferns that cover the ground like roofing.
More saves from Frogge, Piano and Kloe! Kloe has advantage (roll twice take the higher)
---Cooldowns/Active Effects---
Frogge: 2 Saves
Piano: 1 Fail 1 Save
Kloe: 2 Fails
LockeZ: +5 AC (3)
3/4 Charges
Implant Memory(3)
Create Water(2)
Bardic Performance(2)

Attack the spear-wielding gnoll with my whip.
Hit roll: 15+2=17
Damage roll: 10
After attacking I'd like to move somewhat away from the caravan and toward the dense jungle. Not fleeing, just circling my enemies in that direction if possible. I'm hoping not to attract any more attention since I hopefully have a diversion on the way.
I think I can finish off these two gnolls, but the larger fight seems to be unlikely to end in the humans' favor. Getting out of here alive is priority #1.
