Troll plz.

The problem is that your demands are unreasonable and show complete lack of regard for other people's time. Have you considered that we're developers, too? Have you considered that many of us had to work on games without teams? Have you considered that we are currently working on our own projects as we speak?

That's why many people here aren't willing to do work for nothing.

It's time you got out of your selfish fantasy and learned to compromise; work with the limitations you have.

So basically what your saying is that everyone on the site does not want to help me and only care about thier projects and don't care for people who DESPERATLY need help?
In other words, they don't care about me?

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

Actually, yes.

I know you are young and learning this lesson way too soon, but that is how the world works. Everyone is mostly out for themselves unless they can get something out of helping someone else. It is a harsh lesson.

But you shouldn't have to worry about it too much until you get out of gradeschool. (Be thankful for your teachers and parents, by the way. They are doing their best to shield you from this harsh reality)
In case you are serious.

People here promote help to self-help.
You need to do it yourself, but people are more than willing to explain away if you have a specific issue at hand (just look over the help forum section).
There's also tons of tutorial and articles to get started even as a newbie who hasn't done games (I remember Ebeth did a really step by step one explaining different buttons in the maker and how to set up your stuff with them)

That is, they won't make anything for you. But if you are diligently working and come across a problem, big or small, if you want feedback on design ideas or not, they'll give you a hand. That's how it works.
Getting people to work on your game is not "helping you hone your skills" - hence they won't do it even if they wanted to help you. It also is a ridiculous amount of work to put in for a stranger.
The only way to WANT to work on such a project is if everyone is pulling their weight and adding their own skills to the pool. That includes you. Hence, you need some experience somewhere. And that is best earned alone.

Go read tutorials, go do a little something. It can be all RTP and shitty, but you will learn with it.

http://rpgmaker.net/tutorials/1027/ is the one I mentioned, it's about 2k3, so I'm not sure if it keeps up perfectly (I don't gam mak), but the basic layout should be the same and give you a general idea of what you can do even without any further understanding or knowledge.

Otherwise this page has a collection of a few starting tutorials and all kinds of design articles.
It also refers to the general tutorial section. You can poke around there, too.
Then start by learning. Go read tutorials. Go mess with the engine. Go figure out just how much work it takes to do something. Then you might appreciate that people have their own things they want to do and that doing that is going to take time. If you're serious then invest some time in actually getting some skills for yourself instead of demanding people do your work for you. Learn something. If you have trouble with something ask about it, don't ask people to do it for you.

Very often people will ask for a specific one-off thing and others will respond because it doesn't take much out of their own time to do that, but demanding a big drain on peoples' time won't net you anything - and here's a very hard lesson to learn especially as a kid, but one that you will have to sooner or later (better sooner than later): people only have a set amount of time for them to live their lives. That time is easily wasted and best used to do the things they want to do with their lives. Usually it's invested in something that makes them happy - a hobby of some kind.

You will not find many people willing to give you that time for free, with no sure chance of any kind of payoff, to someone who doesn't take the time to read rules that they have done and abide by them as they have done. Why? Because once that time is gone it can NEVER be gotten back.

It doesn't matter if you're 11 or 111, people are not going to want to 'help' people who come off as spoiled little brats and don't understand the task they are asking of others to do on their behalf.

So go learn some things about the hobby into which you're wanting to take part of instead of expecting others to do that for you.

People will be more likely to help you if you prove that you can carry a project to completion. If you haven't made anything, then what guarantee is there that someone will make something for you and the game you use it in will actually get completed?
What because people try to provide help which will get you started on your own way, rather than people who will just do everything for you?

The folk here are trying to get you on your own path to game making, and instead you just throw it back at them without so much a 'by your leave'?

The really sad thing is, there are plenty of people who would help if only you would have approached this with a completely different attitude and understanding. In case you didn't notice from unity's post, people would actually like it if you actually had some experience with this. They would like it if you didn't appear so needy. They would like it if you didn't act so selfish. I'm not talking about the inability pay: I'm talking about your screw-you-and-rules mentality. You've asked for something substantial for us. We've asked for something in return, and it was a very simple thing. We asked for respect for us and respect for the rules, and instead, we got this:

Changed things in the main post. Anything else you want from me, you strict ********?

Really? Nobody has any business ever saying something like this to a total stranger...or not a total stranger! What could possess anybody to act like this?

I JUST REALLY HATE THE FORUMS

Oh, please! Cry me a river!

To sum up this post into a TL;DR: straighten out your act.

Kid, how can you expect any help when you reply to someone giving you advice on how you can start making your own game with 'This is why I hate this website'?

Liberty and unity are right, you know. You need to first learn to make games by yourself before you go looking for a team. There are lots of resources on the website to help you with that, but you need to be willing to invest time into learning how to make games.

If you don't want to invest that time, you probably don't really want to create games, you want to have made a game. That's completely understandable, but I'm sorry to say it's not the right attitude.
Everything that's to be said on this topic has been so I'm going to kick it into the trash can
