AS AN ADULT, DO YOU FIND YOURSELF PLAYING MORE VIDEO GAMES AT THIS AGE OR LESS?

Human by day, derg by night.
Or vise versa.
Less. Much less.
I am not even old. Almost 25.

Work and life pretty much. A response that does not usually mean much because a lot of people have life and work, maybe even more, and play triple.

I guess I just found other hobbies at the moment. Hm...
I play less. There are several factors:

1. Health, my health went really bad (chronical back pain problems), so I have to do a lot of stuff standing and moving rather than sitting. I starting going for walks 1 hour every day for example.

2. Motivation. When I was young I could start up a game and play it 16 hours straight (assuming I had no school on that day). These days, I still want to play games, but after 1-2 hours playing them I feel like "I need a break" and then go do something else.

3. I'm a lot more likely to drop playing a game completely when I don't enjoy it. As kid I'd still have played through it because I paid so much money for it, these days I could probably just buy any RPG released (assuming I don't buy any other luxury items), but I rather play only really good ones now.

4. Just not good at playing anymore. Several games just seem to require skills from me that I just don't have anymore. I really just want to play something simple these days, but many games are just so overly complex that I just don't feel like playing them anymore. And I can never go back to playing them once I haven't played them for a week because I forgot all the key combos already and am too lazy to reread all the tutorials every time I start playing again.
I feel like I play games more often now, but of different genres. Growing up, I absolutely couldn't stop playing RPGs and other genres that required a decent amount of time investment. Now, at 30, I feel that I gravitate a lot more towards games that I can just duck in and out of and don't need me to sit here for hours to make any progress in. I might throw down for a few matches in a fighting game, play one or two regulation games in an NHL game, or play a few maps in a shooter.

I still love RPGs and such, but I find myself playing them less these days strictly because I like to jump in and out of games much more frequently than I used to. Instead of playing games in long sittings, I play them in many small spurts throughout the day/week.
