Heya! I'm working on this in my spare time, but I'm vastly unfamiliar with the RPG maker community. The software was sitting in my steam account from a few years ago, and I decided to buckle down and make something of it.

I hope it's not to uninteresting, it's been difficult for me to create more assets because I'm still pretty unpracticed at artwork. I'll probably be going to fiverr for anything I feel needs a more professional touch.

No estimated time as it's not my main priority, but if I could get it done before the end of this year I'd be ecstatic.

Please let me know what this short clip makes you imagine the game would be like (as I am a talentless hack and would love inspiration) it would be really helpful since I'm not terribly sure what has been overdone in RPGmaker or what kind of games people really look forward to. My current plan is a mostly narrative driven game with puzzles and turn-based combat, so pretty standard, but if you have any easy to implement ideas I'd love to give it a go.

Hello, welcome to RMN!

This site works a little differently than others you may have encountered before. Game projects get their own sections on the site, which are called game pages. Advertising or diplaying your games on the forums is therefore usually not allowed.

If you want some feedback or help on what you've created so far, but do not have enough material to warrant creating a game page for your project yet, there are some threads specifically designed for that purpose, which you can post in instead. A lot of people are more than happy to provide critique and tips on your work if you post something there:
What are you working on?

As a general piece of advice, if you want to find inspiration for your game and want to see what kind of things can or have been done in RPG Maker, the best course of action is to play existing RPG Maker games. The list of Featured Games contains a lot of great gems you can take a look at for inspiration.

Good luck!
