Meh, pounding a lock shouldn't stop the key from working (or it never has on any of the locks I've broken, irl.).
I'll use the arm bone to pry the stock open. Then, I'll pocket the bone, because it might be useful.

Odd fails and breaks a nail in the process, that hurt.

Yeah, I don't know. An old town in disrepair with no wood, rocks, or any form of debris found anywhere doesn't seem to be very conducive to helping you get out of those stocks. Looks like you may be stuck there.
