I know this isn't the main site but a good portion of entries from the 2014 and 2015 indie game maker contest are here on RMN so why not ask. Has anyone heard word of the 2016 indie game maker contest? Is there any information out yet about it?

I don't think so. If I remember correctly, the competition is in November so if I'm right well hear about it mid summer.

Yes the last one started on july. If this year they plan to launch it at the same time then the announcement should come next month.
