Okay so being the only townie, I have to be the one most in the dark. Unless piano was keeping it super obtuse for no reason, he is in fact mafia.

The only idea I have for the word search is that the pattern in the beginning is how you solve it but idk how. I tried to find x's and follow the pattern to get a letter but there are too many x's.
Honestly. Starting the day 2-2, Tangled should have just started with a coinflip and went straight to night phase.
Just remember, if we lynch mafia tonight, you're going to be playing this game for another day phase. Just something to consider.
You can lynch mafia, SK can hit the other mafia, while the surviving mafia hits SK or town. One or the other.

I thought the puzzle was something about crossing out letters via the pattern. Is that even close?
No, I've tried that. You can only come up with three letters that way. I've tried changing the size of the X. That really doesn't work. I'm considering inverting the puzzle.
