CloseOzzy did a pretty good job of ingraining himself in Delta! He did very well for his first mafia game.

There was a lot that psy and I did that inadvertently shielded him from the rest of town. Meanwhile, he managed to really not give anything away.

I still feel okay killing dudes but w/e. For the record (and @Kloe as well) helpfulness, friendliness, cooperation etc aren't town tells. Scumhunting is. Look at actions more than attitudes. (I'm pretty sure ratty was laughing at everyone about this back in the ultima game which was won by "helpfulness")

i'm sure you would have been fine with only one town member of deltaforce that wanted to use the nightkill on all the townies
but normally a lie-detector has to be used on posts that other people make. and thats ALREADY really powerful. one that can be used on statements you make yourself is...well, he still could've made you confirmed scum if he used his power differently that last time.
e: the surgeon general says that treating non-confirmed players as confirmed town is hazardous...to me

I know, I know, I was just so surprised when Frogge turned up not-scum that I let piano go for his ULTIMATE SCUM CAVE play. I should've never done that but I assumed he had seen something I hadn't. Dudesoft's weird ratty defense day 1 rubbed me the wrong way though -- in retrospect it was a mistake but it's not exactly something I regret doing, keeping notes is just as much a scum-looking-for-roles thing as a scumhunting thing, and it's not like dudes contributed to the ratty lynch until things were well under way.
Wish I'd been around for the end of day 3 though, I would've been pushing to analyze the "I'm town" post vs the "one of us is scum" post but uhhh
Reading through mafiachat, I see that piano joining Delta really did save the game for town -- if Ozzy was free to use his ability without supervision it would've been all over.

EDIT: Being able to use the edit feature again is nice.
I defended Ratty because he was on my team, and I already knew he was scum. Would've revealed such info the next day or when it mattered.

Still though I'm amazed I wasn't killed immediately, a lie detector is bad enough, that it could be used as a word-of-god truthometer was almost broken (not that I managed to use it effectively, except to get cap cleared).

My plan to just kill all of Delta is still in effect. The whole thread was in on it, and with Frogge voting with town, this should end when odd gets on.
Because of this, I was actually relieved to when I discovered that psy had been hit along with me. If psy had survived, this would be going very differently, right now. But now Ozzy is mostly outed. He'll have to do some fast talking. I'm just worried he'll pull it off with Frogge.

I'm not sure why you discounted the possibility from the outset. the only reason I assumed there wasn't a traitor on your team was because you were mod-confirmed town and were telling me that everyone on your team had been confirmed ( i assume through some imbalanced power) but none of them were at all, really. town powers didn't lead you to me, you just had several false pre-conceived notions.

To be clear, I'm making everything able to blocked etc UNLESS it's the unit chat's kill option which I will not be considering a "targeting" ability. Cave has an ability that tells him if someone is being targeted and then allows him to intervene, at the expense of his life. He will not be able to intervene if If gets ivory killed or Team Delta votes to kill Ozzy.

My plan to just kill all of Delta is still in effect. The whole thread was in on it, and with Frogge voting with town, this should end when odd gets on.
Because of this, I was actually relieved to when I discovered that psy had been hit along with me. If psy had survived, this would be going very differently, right now. But now Ozzy is mostly outed. He'll have to do some fast talking. I'm just worried he'll pull it off with Frogge.

Reason why it didn't raise THAT much eyebrows at that time was since we *were* in a *large* 4-man-team, it was natural for us to assume there'd also be others like us, be it scum/town saying it. Basic maths really, one group for mafia, one for us, another/2 for the others... ofc, piano being in no team would find it suspicious, but since we *were* in one, we'd all automatically assume the same for others, and if you THINK about our game's title, WELP

CD And yeah, I can think of some statements that could be analyzed and break the game, but they'd have to come up with those statements first/get very lucky. To be clear, I'm making everything able to blocked etc UNLESS it's the unit chat's kill option which I will not be considering a "targeting" ability. Cave has an ability that tells him if someone is being targeted and then allows him to intervene, at the expense of his life. He will not be able to intervene if If gets ivory killed or Team Delta votes to kill Ozzy.
