Isn't it kind of sad that we have to designate a day to be kind to people? Isn't that kind of the difference between doing a good thing and a God thing, to quote a pastor from yesterday's sermon. To do things whenever is to do them when they're convenient.
I took this and ran with it yesterday, but I'm not going to say what it was because I don't want to claim credit for it and downplay the simple act of charity for its own sake.

I see it more as a fun action. Cuz can be your deed random when you know, that you got Randy Randolf's Random Kindness Day? And every action, which makes you to be kind, and you can pretend, makes you a better person.
No one asked to come say what you did. Liberty certainly didn't and at least I think not gloating over how you helped is common sense.
And yes, it's sad that this forum has the need to do these kinds of things because it's become an unpleasant place to talk into when there's judgemental/angry/agressive people around.
I notice people posting here that i rarely see post anywhere else, this means people are still around and have a good disposition to participate in a goodwill event. That's neato.

I can totally appreciate this kind of thing BUT perhaps it's worth looking into the root cause of these "bad feelings"?

If we are looking at the past few months, the reason for most of the bad feelings is caused by differing opinions on a couple of subjects.
Guys... it is literally the International day for kind deeds on the first. I figured we could all do with being a bit kind deliberately to random people for a day. If you don't want to do it, don't bother doing it, but I just figured we could all do with some positive stuff for at least a day or so, since it is the celebration for nice deeds.
Or shall we call off Christmas too because giving gifts to people shouldn't be for just one day? I mean, its not like I'm making up a holiday here - this is the legit date - and people haven't deliberately gone out of their way to be jerks to each other just so we'd have to have this little shindig 'matter' more. I was going to suggest this event even without the hubbub of the last month or so.
Just figured it was a nice idea. >.<;

Chaotic Good is the best alignment.
I'm more partial to Lawful Good myself, but as far as I'm concerned, the Good part is the most important anyway.

"Acts of kindness" is not limited to reviews! It can be any kind of writing, art, or, hell, make a game!
Though, a game made over a period between now and whenever September 1st rolls around (time zone issues YAAAAY) is probably going to be a very shoddy game.
