Why is Revenant Gods on so many categories when it doesn't even have a download on RMN? Did it have a demo here at one point?
I believe it does have a download, but it's in the description rather than where it normally is on a gamepage.
Out of curiosity, what's the purpose of listing games in descending order of nominations? That means the more popular a game already is, the more visibility it gets. It might be a good idea next time to randomize the order and not display the number of nominations.
Reading the list, it's hard to resist the urge to think "well these ones only got a couple nominations, so it's probably not worth checking them out."

That's what's confusing me. I thought you couldn't even click the nominate button unless there was a download available? Since I've seen a couple others on this list without a download, I guess you can. Hm.

I like this idea. Randomize or list them alphabetically.

There used to be a download, but the dev mentioned on his rpgmakerweb thread that he was taking the demo down because of stolen music.
Seems like hiding or deleting a download doesn't remove it from nominations or something...?

That is... terrible. Holy hell I'm so sorry that happened to LuZi and the team. Well, at least it answers my question: there WAS a download available to nominate at some point. I'll assume the others I've seen without a current download had one at some point as well.
I sincerely hope we don't glorify this kind of slimy behavior by allowing it to win the Best Sound and Music category.

I'm noticing some people (not on this thread) being kinda salty about the Misaos and I'm like... okay chill y'all, my game didn't get nominated either, I was disappointed but I ain't gonna take it out on anybody. Stay pozzie my friends. :)

It happens every year, and I never understand it, because the only thing it indicates is how well-known a game is and how many people played it.
Like, that's not a bad thing, in my eyes, especially since it's a thing I can make fun of, but it means that the stakes are almost nonexistent; the awards mean little, there's no prize to speak of, and while I can't prove anything, I assume people just vote on the few games they've played.
It's all entirely a fun little popularity contest and social exercise. If you ever find yourself upset to the point that you need to post about it, you are taking it entirely too seriously.
