Why is Revenant Gods on so many categories when it doesn't even have a download on RMN? Did it have a demo here at one point?
EDIT: I don't see a demo for Melting Moon, either.
Revenant Gods had a demo but I THINK it had to be taken down because their 'composer stole music'. LuZi wrote about it indepth.
As for Melting Moon, I remember they were in IGMC? They probably took it down after a few months.

There was one year, perhaps last year where I had actually played quite a few of the games at some point. For the most part I try to avoid playing the really big name games so I can review the smaller titles that other people might not notice.

Pocket Mirror fans should play Soma Spirits. Then they should play Three Ghostly Roses. Cause when Pocket Mirror ultimately wins, I'm gonna force SgtMetool to make CORPSE PARTY with me as a protest and Pocket Mirror fans will love it.
I say that in good fun. I wouldn't actually have hard feelings if Pocket Mirror wins.
I'll be honest: the fact that I'm even contending this closely with Pocket Mirror is pretty surreal and I wasn't expecting it at all. It's actually really exciting. But I do hope we'll see a good variety in this year's winners!

Wasn't expecting to get any nominations so it was nice seeing Flatwoods up there for best intro. Three Ghostly Roses really seems to have come out nowhere in the last week or two so I am really happy seeing that up there in so many categories. Of everything I played this year TGR and Soma Spirits were definitely the two that impressed me most.

i want to help vote but i only know about Revenant Gods (well, i know more but i only know the title at most). i guess i'll just skip the vote rather than voting randomly..
anyway, i just checked the only nomination for Most RTP Game Award Nominations (i guess it's the winning game for the said category then?) and it only got 2/5 review. is the review out of date or the game is that bad to begin with? :o

The third option is that the reviewer just didn't much care for the game but maybe you will disagree. The only way to know for sure is to try it for yourself!

And it's Quest for the Peace Sword, it's uhm, it has something going for it but it's not really that great. It was a contest game of swapping them midway.
I figured (I know it was for me!) there just weren't so many RTP games that stood out to me this time around. It was pretty well-known for reasons : D

So far it’s looking pretty good for that to happen; there are lots of different potential winners this year just like what happened with last year. Maybe things are finally changing for the better - 'cause I remember what happened that one year with Star Stealing Prince.
Speaking of that - I miss when we used to have the Wisao awards as well as with the Misaos. *sigh* Oh well. *hugs his Wisao*

Seeing Pocket Mirror & Revenant Gods proves to me that people are putting a lot more effort into art for RMN these past few years.
