If this was Forumotion, they wouldn't even need to change the recipent's name for the PM. They would just use the {USERNAME} variable and voilà, send exactly the same message to everyone with even less care! (just a tip for you, shady publishers).
By the way, Liberty didn't gave any link/name at the original post (and don't remember seeing any after that). Was more like "you know what you did" than a "difamatory thread". But then came RPGVideo and gave us a clue. I actually didn't new a thing since I didn't received anything.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Well, this was a fun read for the evening. That map with the weird coloring issues and the mud spreading on TOP of a house just took the cake though.

Personally, when it comes to RM games, I wouldn't trust a publisher who doesn't have a well standing reputation in the community or is not a developer who maintains a decent standard in his own games.
I received offers from several publishers for my game, but in the end I decided to do it the hard way.

Oh yeah these guys, I already got spam from them before. These sort of people prey on indie game developers who don't know any better. They also tend to hound Steam Greenlight pages.

I saw another thread that was talking about these things.
A Facebook group I'm in had some guy named Jonny Morgan advertising with almost the exact same information that I saw in the other thread except it was for some place called Avalanche Studioz (to which I had replied letting him know that's already a game studio and his only concern was the fact it ended with a Z instead of an S...real professionals, here).
Was everyone seeing that too?

Avalanche Studioz is the guy's other company. For whatever reason, he has two companies; he said it was to get more exposure for games, or something like that, when I asked him about it.
Probably because there's already an Avalanche Studios, so he's leeching off whatever 'fame' they have. Deplorable really.

People who mistype a studio's name into google are a high-value demographic. It makes sense to make multiple studios with varying typos in their names to get as many of these players as possible.
