CloseI got one problem with loo-cah-vee. I don't think there's actually u: and I:. They should be both short in Latin (and hochdeutsch). But I might be wrong reading English pronouncation.

In Latin, U, V, W are all the same letter, pronounced Oow, so it should be u: I'm pretty sure. And in "Veni, Vidi, Vici", all words that end in -i, they're all pronounced -ee

I'm guessing it's pronounced similar to how it is in Russian:
The Russian word lukavy (лукавый) means "deceptive". It is commonly used as a euphemism for the Christian Devil. It is related to the Greek word lykaugea, which means "twilight".
Personally, I say it as Loo Sah Vee, with the same emphasis as the word Lucifer
Impressive. Now I want to know how a native speaker would pronounce lukavy.
