So, Aladdin's amking quite a splash and it probably will outrun both Pikachu and Wick today or tomorrow. This means it definitely ends up in Top 5, bringing Disney sweet dollars.
John Wick is doing extremely well as many of you expected. It's quite possible that it will be more successful than Pikachu. Both films should end up in the lower half of the top ten.

Well we're one month in and Wick 3 is doing crazy money. It's looking to beat both Detective Pikachu and Godzilla based on opening weekends (Wick 3 made 56mil, pikachu 54mil and godzilla looks to do 50mil)
Of the other major contenders Aladdin is doing alright (sitting at near 200mil after two weekends). But there are a bunch of movies yet to come!
But current standings (after only one month, so these are not even close to final):

Holy smokes, I'm a runner-up to the top three thus far! :o
I'm currently second place! This has never happened before!
So….lemme get this straight…
I haven’t gone to the theatres to see a new movie in over a year…haven’t watched a new movie on demand since last month…entered this thing with a vague idea about what I thought would do well at the box office…and you're telling me that I’m only three points back from top spot currently…?
Meanwhile...! I watch and follow the NHL pretty regularly...should be winning the hockey pool by a country mile over every one else…currently two points back from that thing from being in dead last myself...whereas in this thing, I have more points than both Kentona and Shinan combined...AND THEY BOTH GO TO THE MOVIES MORE THAN I DO!!! Heck, this is even Shinan’s own thread and he’s currently in last place!
(Hey...wait a minute - I just realized something…! Shinan’s own thread…currently in last place… Addit’s own thread, two points back from being in last place… Coincidence...???)
Obviously I would imagine that things will change throughout the summer and all that. But, in the meantime – I’m pretty satisfied at where I’m at right now.

Goddammit, I just realized I had a mistake in my ordering, based on my estimates. I had Aladdin and Secret Life of Pets 2 flipflopped. (Aladdin was my #4). Which sucks, because Pets is underperforming my estimates to boot.
John Wick 3 is slightly overperforming my estimates, but Godzilla is underperforming. Pikachu and Aladdin are slightly below my estimates, too.

Well another month has passed so time to check up on some movies!
There's been some rather big disappointments (in that they haven't made money, no judgement on the quality of the actual films) which is shaping up to make this quite interesting.
Now Spider-Man is just days away to completely mess up the rankings. But for now these are the rankings that Toy Story 4 has managed to stir up.
Current Rankings (might be wrong because last time I doublechecked after posting and some of my point values were wrong, but whatever who checks, right?):
Shinan: 46 points (+38)
Addit: 40 points (+17)

I think Shinan has a solid chance winning if Toy Story manages to gross more than Lion King, which isn't entirely unlikely.
The only other real contender is Kentona imo. His list is bulletproof and positioning of individual titles is solid.
